We stopped by chance at this typical Arezzo trattoria. We had a great meal (the ribollita was excellent!), quick, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere.

Visited on a Friday for lunch, two adults and a (greedy) two-and-a-half-year-old. We stumbled upon it by chance while strolling through Arezzo. Tuscan appetizer: Pici with wild boar ragù, gnocchi with tomato sauce, polenta with mushrooms, biscotti and Vin Santo, tiramisu and a half a glass of red wine. Everything was delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the bill was €68. What more can I say? Eat here when in Arezzo!

We arrived by chance on a rainy and bitterly cold day.
The girl in the dining room who welcomed us was very kind.
Since we were short on time, we opted for soups and pizza.
The farro soup and ribollita were excellent; I would have increased the portions a bit because they were delicious.
The pizza was good, but if we were lucky enough to return, we'd definitely try the pici, which we saw being served nearby and looked inviting.

Excellent food and good value.
The four of us had lunch with crostini, pasta, ribollita, sautéed greens, and desserts.
Everything was delicious.
Good value.
The young woman who served us was truly kind, pleasant, and professional; for her alone, the place deserves 5 stars.
Highly recommended.

Simply exceptional!
We went to Trattoria Il Saraceno in Arezzo for two consecutive days and would do it again a thousand times.
We started both meals with appetizers of traditional cured meats and cheeses, truly unique and exquisite, which immediately demonstrated the high quality of the cuisine.
On the first day, we ate a spectacular Florentine steak and incredible pici with wild boar ragù; on the second, a fantastic tagliata and dreamy pappardelle with hare ragù. Each dish was carefully crafted, flavorful, and of the highest quality.
The meat is indescribable: I never eat rare meat, but here I've completely converted. Perfectly aged, the meat is incredibly tender, flavorful, and without a drop of blood. One of the best I've ever eaten.
A special shout-out to Enrico, who guided us through the selection of dishes (and the cooking of the meat) and wine with rare expertise and passion. Extremely kind, friendly, pleasant, and knowledgeable: he made our experience even more enjoyable and memorable. Officially a waiter, but clearly much more.
The prices also deserve a mention: perfect value, absolutely in line with the exceptional quality of the ingredients, the cuisine, and the service offered.
Highly recommended for those who love authentic Tuscan cuisine and great meat. A restaurant that will remain in our hearts and where we will definitely return. Congratulations to the entire staff!

We popped in by chance, looking for something traditionally Tuscan. We ordered mixed crostini, which were delicious, especially the ones with chicken livers and mushrooms. Pici with wild boar was truly delicious, and the pizza (spicy salami) was equally delicious. The tiramisu was amazing. We had a bit of a wait for the starters, but that was understandable given how busy the place was. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

I really have nothing negative to say about the food; everything was delicious and carefully prepared. We ordered traditional dishes and, apart from a slightly cold but delicious pasta dish, we ate very well.
Unfortunately, the place was cold: I and other diners around us kept our jackets on.
The service, initially excellent, changed towards the end of the meal: when we dared to ask for coffee from the first waiter who passed by (as is the custom), the waitress who served us throughout the meal came up to us and pretended to ask if we wanted coffee, just to make up for the fact that we'd already asked another waiter. She actually asked, clearly annoyed, "Who did you ask? If you want something, you have to ask me." That would have been something to say at the beginning of the meal, if that's one of the rules of the place.
Now, I don't think this is the right way to treat customers, especially over a problem that doesn't exist. Restaurants generally know how to keep track of a table's orders, even if different waiters take them.
We paid immediately and left, all without the waitress speaking to us again. Madness.
