Warm and welcoming place, arrived from Rome for New Year's Eve, I had lunch on the 31st and I immediately booked for the dinner, honest prices and very high quality, top place.... Umberto and Giordana, greetings to the owner.

Super great restaurant, the best I have visited in Arezzo so far. Food very tasty, the pictures speak for themselves, real Mediterranean taste. Staff very nice. Lots of locals were in there. Price-performance ratio is right. Porcini mushroom soup, hare in fennel sauce, rib steak, roasted potatoes, tiramisu and espresso.

We stumbled upon it by chance while we were wandering around Arezzo for Christmas. The restaurant has good food. The staff are kind and friendly. If you pass by, go and eat. It's recommended, but book before you go. If not, go as soon as it opens if you can't find a place.

We were looking for a nice place to eat a bistecca Fiorentina that night. I found Il Saraceno, but first was a little hesitant about the average revies - but all of the negatices are about pizza. Seriously, who eats pizza in a trattoria..... this is for a full Italian meal. The place is a little hidden in a small steep alley in the lower old city - offers in- and some outside seating (along the house). Waitress was super friendly (don't expect fast, you are on vacation). With a Fiorentina, there is no room for a nice four-meal, so we had a choice of excellent Bruschetta for starters, then the huge steak which we shared - grilled to perfection (we actually replaced Fiorentina with Costata die Manzo, since the offered pieces were simply too large).
