I organized my wife's birthday in September with the excuse of walking on the shores of Lake Mergozzo. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly, a rare quality these days, even sourcing the name of a local bakery for the birthday cake. The risottos were delicious; the menu includes 4 max 5 risottos based on the season: we ordered the restaurant "carbonara" with coffee powder, toma with rump and porcini mushrooms with blueberries. Everything was topped off with the perfect choice of wines recommended by the excellent service. After that we ordered desserts and artisanal liquorice liqueur, obviously all very good. In addition to the 5 stars for the food, I offer 5 stars for the service (the girls were very kind and knowledgeable about wines) and the place: a trattoria rather than a restaurant that offers very good food at still reasonable prices.

Very warmly run house. The food is regional and traditional with a certain twist. It's also worth mentioning that no Coperto is charged, although there is even a Prosecco to start with.

The two of us had dinner today. Everything was super good, service was top. Get a glass of Prosecco just like that. You don't pay Coperto and Servizio!!! Price and performance are more right than usual. Just go and experience it for yourself, you will be pleasantly surprised 😊.

Very welcoming historic place, menu with a wide choice of dishes, Risottos are the specialty if you don't eat them you can't understand the goodness and delicacy, the staff are professional, helpful, polite, friendly, Prices are normal. Highly recommended!!!!

Abbiamo pranzato oggi ed è stata un'ottima scelta. Prosecco e focaccia di benvenuto! Antipasto con prodotti locali,bollito misto richiesto nella prenotazione e veramente ottimo,servito con verdure lessate e salse.Per finire un dessert particolare:cheese cake e semifreddo al limone.Consigliatissimo!!!

All’interno di Mergozzo, trattoria semplice, accogliente, pulita. Provati antipasti piemontesi, ottimi e il risotto alla carbonara: sublime. Porzioni giganti. Insomma, splendida cucina, di tradizioni, ma con magnifiche rivisitazioni. Servizio attento, di grandissima gentilezza. Notevole carta dei vini. Una nota positiva in più: i cani sono accolti con amore!
