Delicious food. It was our favorite thing so far during our stay in Rome. We ordered the carbonara and I highly recommend it! The service was also very friendly.

Situato a due passi da Torre Argentina e Pantheon, Il Lucano è una piccola gemma nel cuore di Roma. L’ubicazione centralissima lo rende ideale per una pausa autentica tra un monumento e l’altro. Ma ciò che lo rende davvero speciale è il modo in cui riesce a far convivere l’anima verace della cucina lucana con l’atmosfera affascinante del centro storico romano.

Vine aquí para almorzar después de una visita al Panteón. Personal muy amable, auténtica sensación italiana. Deliciosa pizza crujiente, no demasiado cursi, y excelentes espaguetis con almejas. Muy recomendable para todos.

06/10/2025: Very nice and friendly service. You sit outside. We started with a welcome from the kitchen in the form of a brus hetta. The spaghetti fruitti di mare was truly first-class, and the penne al arrabiata was by far the best in all of Rome. If we're back in Rome, we'll eat here again. Thank you!
05/10/2025: It was good, the pizza was a little lacking for my taste. The sausage pedicure was a little lacking, and they only gave me three slices; it looked more like a margarita than anything else. Aside from that, the homemade bruschetta and my husband's chicken were very good.

28/07/2025: Great food, reasonable priced, and friendly staff. I always visit this place everytime I visit Rome since 2019. I was so sorry when I saw it was temporarily closed in the last March. I hope I can visit there next year!
14/06/2025: Near Pantheon. Good food, very friendly service, reasonably priced - given the location. Clean, spacious, pleasant. Good rose wine.
