Wonderful taste and atmosphere in one... Worth it!

We only had a few drinks here (beer and prosecco), so we can't rate the food. The covered seating is in the shade of a side street, and thanks to the friendly service, it's a very pleasant place to be. The prices are reasonable.

Lovely, unassuming spot for food and drink. Three cheers for Franco, who took great care of us.

Cannot recommend this place enough! We just happened to stumble upon it on a walk and it was the best meal of our trip. I got caico pepe and my husband got aglio e olio. Hands down best pasta we had in Roma. Our waiter was awesome and personable. If you’re in Rome this is a MUST.

Lucano is located in the city center, a few meters from Largo Argentina, where archaeological finds from ancient Rome emerge that commemorate the assassination of Julius Caesar. The trattoria has a small room at street level, furnished simply and tastefully, and outdoor tables. The kitchen offers traditional Lucanian dishes, and typical Roman dishes. Among the Lucanian dishes, the strascinati with sauce and grated provola cheese stand out, as well as the orecchiette in bianco with green broccoli, cruschi peppers and cod morsels. Among the second courses, the cod stands out, which is served with sauce, olives and capers, or simply boiled and dressed in white with oil in which garlic has been fried. All very good. The cellar offers a decent selection of labels. The owners of the restaurant, two brothers, serve at the tables, and are distinguished by their kindness and willingness to entertain guests. The quality-price ratio is balanced.

The gentleman who took care of us was very polite and fun. The pizza was average. I've had better, but the pasta was top notch, five stars. The wine he recommended was also very good.

Sono stata con famiglia ed amici per una cena. Ho provato una buona carbonara! Si mangia bene, ed è come sentirsi in famiglia. Personale gentile, consigliato!

Recomiendo encarecidamente esta trattoria. Está a solo unos minutos a pie del Panteón. Pero en lugar de embalar trampas turísticas frente a Panteón, camine un par de Bloques y en una calle lateral si esta joya. Esto es lo que se ve en las películas sobre la gastronomía de Roma. Acogedor, romántico, cómodo, muy acogedor. Cenamos alrededor de las 6 pm, que creo que es súper temprano para los lugareños, así que éramos los únicos fuera. Charlamos con el hijo del propietario, muy agradable y amable chico. Él nos dijo que ha estado en los EE.UU. (Nueva York), vinimos de los EE.UU. La comida era deliciosa. Nos encantó este lugar. Si alguna vez estamos de vuelta en Roma sin duda volveremos a cenar aquí de nuevo.
