Great restaurant to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine last March, and the service is truly warm and welcoming. They make sure their customers have a great time. We were delighted, and next time we visit, it will be a must-visit. 😊

We stumbled upon this place on our last night and definitely did not regret it. Absolutely superb hosts Vito and his family, the food was amazing and the service perfect. 😀 Thank you for the awesome time, many laughs were shared, and delicious food.

Delicious food. It was our favorite thing so far during our stay in Rome. We ordered the carbonara and I recommend it 100%! The service was also very pleasant.

Situato a due passi da Torre Argentina e Pantheon, Il Lucano è una piccola gemma nel cuore di Roma. L’ubicazione centralissima lo rende ideale per una pausa autentica tra un monumento e l’altro. Ma ciò che lo rende davvero speciale è il modo in cui riesce a far convivere l’anima verace della cucina lucana con l’atmosfera affascinante del centro storico romano.

Este fue nuestro restaurante favorito durante nuestro tiempo en Roma. Probamos otros y los encontramos a todos faltando en comparación, y seguimos volviendo a esta pequeña joya! Convenientemente situado cerca del Panteón, el personal es tan amable - que te hacen sentir como en familia.

14/10/2025: Definitely the best pizza by the slice in the area. Thin and crispy dough, and the one with tomato sauce is truly the best. All the others follow. The place is simple, but you can still sit down. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. When I think of pizza by the slice, I come here.

11/11/2025: Excellent pizza!! I found this little place by chance and was truly amazed. Top service, you can taste the delicious toppings, and the pizza crust isn't overly thin, much less Neapolitan-style! Recommended
