The place is quite small so booking is recommended. Courteous and helpful service. Excellent food! We tasted appetizers, first courses, second courses and desserts. Everything truly delicious. We will definitely return.

The dinner was absolutely delicious — we enjoyed every single bite! I honestly can’t understand why this place doesn’t have a full 5-star rating. It’s definitely worth booking a table, even on weekdays. Huge thanks to the amazing people who run this place!

Amazing, unique meal. So delicious. I wish I could remember the name of my dish, but it had a fat pasta with eggplant, caper, and breadcrumbs. Extraordinary. Then had Pstachio Cream for desert. Insanely good. Sweet decor. Very cozy.

There must be a reason why this restaurant entered the Gambero Rosso guide this year. Traditional Tuscan dishes cooked with character, taste and balance and generous portions. Excellent raw material. Truly a pleasure for the palate. Attentive and courteous service with that touch of familiarity that a trattoria must have. Absolutely worth trying and a guarantee if you go to Pitigliano.

Trattoria with really good traditional dishes in the historic center. Fast service. The room created in the base of an ancient tower is particular. It doesn't have many tables for. I recommend booking. Price normal

Nice place in Pitigliano where you can eat typical local cuisine. The first courses are good, both fettuccine with wild boar and pici with fresh truffle although I prefer the pasta a little more al dente. The wild boar with plums is good. The prices are really honest and a very good value for money. Maybe the wine list didn't excite me. If you come to this tuff jewel of the Maremma (absolutely worth visiting if you pass through these parts or come to the Argentario) you can refresh yourself after a nice walk around the town. Recommended.. just as booking is highly recommended.

Il Grillo es una acogedora trattoria escondida justo más allá de la plaza principal, y capturó completamente nuestros corazones (y estómagos). El comedor es íntimo, con vigas de madera, iluminación cálida y arte local. Empezamos con un plato de crostini misti – el paté de champiñones y trufas era excepcional. Para la alimentación principal, comí pappardelle con jabalí ragu, y mi compañero probó el coniglio allá cacciatora (guiso de conejo). Ambos eran profundamente sabrosos, rústicos y reconfortantes. La carta de vinos tenía una gran selección de Morellino di Scansano local, y el tinto de la casa era sorprendentemente bueno. El servicio era amable y atento, y los precios eran muy razonables (30 € – 40 € por persona). Si quieres una comida tradicional toscana en un ambiente acogedor, este es el lugar.

Volevamo portare una coppia di amici veneti a provare la cucina tipica toscana (noi siamo emiliani ma andiamo in Maremma da molti anni) e allo stesso tempo mostrare loro lo spettacolo della vista notturna su Pitigliano. Abbiamo deciso (per fortuna con largo anticipo) di provare questo piccolo locale in centro. Scelta felice!! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e a prezzi ragionevoli nella piccolissima saletta con volta in tufo. Consiglio di prenotare per tempo se si programma una visita … noi siamo andati di lunedì e molta gente senza prenotazione é rimasta fuori dato che c era il tutto esaurito.
