A typical Tuscan restaurant with meticulous attention to detail, offering a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. The staff are incredibly kind, humble, and smiling, with a rare desire to make their guests feel welcome. Even though we arrived near closing time, they welcomed us with kindness and attentiveness. Excellent food, carefully crafted dishes, and interesting off-menu options. A truly delightful experience that I recommend to anyone seeking quality and genuine hospitality.

Magnificent restaurant. Excellent food from appetizers to desserts, quick and excellent service even on days when the restaurant is fully booked. I recommend the wild boar ragù and the torta papalina. The staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient. Prices are average, but portions are super generous. Congratulations!

Excellent trattoria. I recommend it to everyone. It's in the center of Pitigliano, so it's hard to miss. The interior is very quaint, perfectly reflecting the village setting. There's outdoor seating with a great view of Pitigliano's narrow streets. The food is excellent, with typical local products and very friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

A sublime experience, absolutely and highly recommended to anyone visiting Pitigliano! Simply excellent cuisine, attentive and thoughtful service, and a simple, intimate, and welcoming atmosphere! My husband, son, and I had a truly delicious lunch and can't wait to return to this wonderful trattoria to try their other delicious dishes!

Dinner at an outdoor table (just outside the Pitigliano gates) was excellent, from the pecorino cheese appetizer to the sweet and sour wild boar with plums... too bad we ran out of room for dessert 😂 The waiters were young and friendly. Definitely worth a try. Make sure you book ahead, as it's a popular restaurant.

Il Grillo es una acogedora trattoria escondida justo más allá de la plaza principal, y capturó completamente nuestros corazones (y estómagos). El comedor es íntimo, con vigas de madera, iluminación cálida y arte local. Empezamos con un plato de crostini misti – el paté de champiñones y trufas era excepcional. Para la alimentación principal, comí pappardelle con jabalí ragu, y mi compañero probó el coniglio allá cacciatora (guiso de conejo). Ambos eran profundamente sabrosos, rústicos y reconfortantes. La carta de vinos tenía una gran selección de Morellino di Scansano local, y el tinto de la casa era sorprendentemente bueno. El servicio era amable y atento, y los precios eran muy razonables (30 € – 40 € por persona). Si quieres una comida tradicional toscana en un ambiente acogedor, este es el lugar.

Nei tre giorni del we del 25 aprile soggiorniamo in questa splendida porzione della Toscana un vero paradiso. Dopo lunga insistenza di mia moglie che ha chiamato più volte per la disponibilità di un tavolo riusciamo a prenotare per sabato a pranzo. Comprendiamo immediatamente le ragioni della difficoltà...un servizio cortese e qualificato, la simpatia del proprietario ma soprattutto una qualità in tutte le portate dagli antipasti al dolce assolutamente eccellente e gradevole nell'aspetto, preparazione, abbinamenti e gusto. Fuori concorso i paccheri, i cannoli di baccalà e il dolce. Vino della casa molto gradevole ed un conto assolutamente nella norma e che invita insieme al resto a tornarci e tornarci presto. Promosso a pieni voti!
