Trattoria Il Frantoio In San vito chietino

Lunch on April 24th: ups and downs. The interior is well-kept and elegant, the outdoor terrace is nice but a little more spartan. Service a little slow, it was supposed to be rainy but in the end there were about ten tables, maybe they weren't expecting it. Mixed appetizer good but nothing crazy. Good first courses and desserts. So why ups and downs? The salad was full of insects, ours as well as the one at the next table, they took it out on the supplier but it was clear that it hadn't been washed. The prawns on the other hand had a strange color, they were dried up and had a strange flavor. Since there were supposed to be 5, and in reality there were 4 on the plate, they kindly brought 3 more, and from there we understood that the previous ones were perhaps leftovers from the previous days. The new ones were nice and red and meaty. Too bad.

UNIQUE SEAFRONT LOCATION!! Il Frantoio is in an excellent position, on the cycle path and very close to the gravel parking lot, reachable both on foot and by car. It is a seafood restaurant that offers dishes cooked in a simple and homely way like the true flavors of the past! The quality of the food is high and the service is worth it! A must if you visit San Vito

Second choice at the oil mill, captivating place facing the sea, a few minutes of waiting but on holidays it's fine, excellently fresh and well-made food, more than honest price Very kind owner.

Friendly staff and fast service, fried food digestible because the oil was fresh, grilled tender and excellent cooking. The sea view with the trabocchi makes everything very very pleasant.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate Valentine's Day, a group of 30 people arrived, the place was full, And despite all the service being extraordinary, not to mention the fresh, good and plentiful menu, we were all very happy both with the evening and above all with the attention that Mirko the owner dedicated to us. At the end of the evening we all left with the desire to return to this little restaurant soon. What can I say, a beautiful evening! Thanks Mirko!

Dopo aver fatto una bella passeggiata sulla ciclopedonale ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante che si trova di fronte al mare. Abbiamo ordinato tutti e due un antipasto caldo/freddo e un fritto di calamari. La frittura era a dir poco eccezionale, poco unta e morbidissima. Sicuramente torneremo

Una deliziosa trattoria, piccola ma molto confortevole, con una splendida vista fronte mare. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e garbatissimo, ci è venuto incontro poiché ho chiesto un fuori menù e mi ha subito accontentato. I piatti sono stati tutti gustosi, preparati al momento e con pesce fresco e di qualità. I vini del territorio sono ottimi ed hanno prezzi bassi. Abbiamo trascorso un sabato rilassante e piacevole, mangiato e bevuto bene ed abbiamo pagato veramente poco!

Simple and informal atmosphere, very good food!!! Everything fresh and cooked with simplicity but very tasty! I highly recommend! Directly on the cycle path in San Vito.
