Trattoria Guelfa In Firenze

We found this little gem of a restaurant by chance. What a wonderful warm reception we got from the staff, the menu was authentic with a good choice of meat, fish, vegetarian options. I had a fantastic fillet steak cooked to perfection (medium rare) and reasonably priced and the homemade fruits of the forest cheesecake for desert. The overall atmosphere of this small delightful traditional Tuscan restaurant was lifted above others we'd tried by the staff. So much so, we reserved a table for our last night in Florence.

The foods were very tasty and with reasonable price, especially the 1Kg T-Bone steak, it cooked very delicious. The service was very good, the staffs were very friendly. I strongly recommend you go to this restaurant.

The food is really delicious! The prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes and the taste. The staff is very kind and friendly. The place is small, but it has a nice atmosphere. They also offer great lunch deals at very good prices.

The pasta dinners were very flavorful & perfectly sized. Not oversized portions like some other places we’ve visited. Service was mixed, attentive for part of the meal, less so at the start - very much depends on who was attending to you at the moment. Food comes super fast which we liked. The chocolate dessert though; If you are a chocoholic like me - go here and get the chocolate dessert. It is one of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. Worth the trip just for that!

A true taste of Italy! This charming restaurant offers an authentic Italian experience with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable, and the house wine is excellent smooth, rich, and perfectly paired with the food. I highly recommend the mussels, the pappa al pomodoro, and the steak all beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The hostess was absolutely delightful charming, funny, and made us feel right at home. I didn’t take many photos during the meal (a testament to how good it was!), but I genuinely can’t recommend this place enough.

A very nice, somewhat hidden trattoria serving typical Tuscan dishes. It's cozy and decorated with attention to detail. The Trippa alla Fiorentina, the buffalo mozzarella, and the homemade tiramisu were all delicious. We received very friendly and attentive service, and the Prosecco and grappa were generously poured. We felt very comfortable!

Great restaurant near downtown and great food and the prices very reasonable. Friends or Family. You will eat very well.

A typical and (original) Italian trattoria. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The attentive service is very characteristic of Italian culture, and they explain how to eat and appreciate food like an Italian! Delicious food. Very reasonable price. Perfect location. I would return again!

Un restaurante imprescindible si estás en Florencia. El personal era muy hospitalario a pesar de que había una barrera lingüística. Podía sentir la sinceridad de las damas que daban buenas recomendaciones. Teníamos su filete de hueso en T y debo decir que es mucho mejor que el que probé en París. El precio también era muy razonable. Por favor, pruebe su filete si estás en Florencia porque nunca he probado nada tan bueno! Cada trozo de carne sabía tan bien con un equilibrio correcto y lo ahumado de la misma me hizo querer seguir comiendo y al final tanto mi marido como yo terminamos el 1. ¡5 kg de carne! No pude soportar los postres más tarde, pero las patatas y las espinacas también eran excelentes. Me alegro de haber encontrado ese lugar. Fue realmente una experiencia gastronómica inolvidable!

Cena di passaggio a Firenze. Personale accogliente e locale intimo. Servizio rapido e piatti da tipica trattoria toscana. Tutto buonissimo. Dai primi, che non abbiamo assaggiato ma chi era accanto a noi ha gradito molto, ai secondi e contorni. Noi abbiamo ordinato questi ultimi e i crostini toscani. Buono il patè anche se avrei preferito un pane più rustico, ma questo è un gusto personale... La Fiorentina, circa 1,3 Kg in due era super abbondante ma davvero squisita. Al sangue come piaceva a noi, con una buona dose di sale grosso e un filo d'olio evo. Tornemo sicuramente!
