What can I say?...doing a job where I travel every corner of the region...from the most remote mountaintop spot to the busiest city center...I can definitely tell you that finding places like this where the friendly service, the quality of the food, and the value for money are paramount...with the authenticity and simplicity of the service making the taste of the food even more enjoyable and the overall experience that can only leave you wanting to RETURN!...I just want to say..... THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF. I hope you are an example to all those places where the customer is just a number... A habit that has now become too annoying for those who know the value of the word PROFESSIONALISM!

Nice place, albeit a bit dated. The food is delicious, like eating at grandma's house. The service is quick and lively, despite the crowds. The staff is helpful, and the bill is reasonable.

Excellent, excellent value for money, friendly, always attentive to service, clean, shame ..... the anchovies are missing (as happened with the old management), in the half-day lunch.

The lunch food is good, which is why I've been going there for years. The staff is friendly and quick with the food, especially since most people have to get back to work. The pesto is delicious. The only downside is parking...hard to find for people like me who drive a van.

On our way from Castiglione della Pescaia to Turin, we decided to stop halfway for lunch. We looked for a restaurant that also offered a tourist menu, and Da U Gigiun (Mele) was the perfect choice. The menu costs €13 for a first course, second course, and a choice of three sides. Drinks included. Dessert and coffee are not included. Excellent value. The staff, all female, were extremely welcoming and friendly. A simple but very comfortable restaurant. We had a wonderful time. I invite you to try it.

A very simple restaurant with a few dishes on the menu and no frills. The food is freshly cooked and the service is super friendly. We paid €23 for two main courses, two cappuccinos, two liters of water, and a dessert. The value for money is impressive across the board. We would go back anytime.
