I go there often but never at meal time. For lunch in August 2024 For €13 they gave me: fresh homemade palia tagliatelle and hay, butter and sage: delicious and plentiful. Grilled trout with mixed salad: excellent A quarter of still, good white. 50cl of water in a sealed bottle coffee. All the truck drivers stop there. It's not a coincidence. If it were closer I would go there very often. Waiter in a hurry because there are a lot of people, but very kind. Well done.

Fixed price at midday but 4 choices for the first course and 4 choices for the second course. Quality food. You eat in the shade.

Easy to reach restaurant with ample parking. the environment is very familiar and the food is excellent. every time I come back to eat at Fornasette it gets better and better!

We were passing through and honestly I was expecting something more. The casoncelli didn't have much flavor. The dry fried food, however, we didn't like the stew with polenta. I have to say it was good.

The Fornasette restaurant presents itself as an informal place, with few frills where the focus is above all on the food. Outside there is ample parking and a garden where you can have lunch in a shaded area. The food is good and the cost of lunch is very affordable. The only flaw is that if you have lunch outside, you are at the mercy of mosquitoes and you have cars and trucks passing by just a few meters away 😅

If you are looking for a gourmet place, this is not your place. If you want to rediscover the atmosphere of the 60s/70s trattorias, yes! It's very pleasing to discover that the family tradition continues and the place you frequented with your parents (because "if truck drivers go there, you eat well"), still exists and maintains its good quality/price ratio unchanged. Well done! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

17/07/2024: Oramai sono anni che il giorno del nostro anniversario andiamo a pranzare, ritornare in questo locale a noi caro per un insieme di ragioni che sfiorano gli oltre trent’anni di vita. Lo chef Mario, ha raggiunti livelli di una cucina straordinariamente elevato e nello stesso momento di una naturalezza di portate che donano profumi e sapori, ti riportano nel tempo, (adoro le puntine di Vitelle arrostite, mi estraneo…). Da un po' di tempo c’è Daniele, uno chef che ha portato innovazione ed un aiuto a Mario. Descrivere il locale, ti proietta negli anni cinquanta ma ben curato, elegante con le attenzioni che Ilaria, capo maître, e con Jessica tengono curato, nel servizio sono ineccepibili, dove il cliente che sa apprezzare si trova a suo agio.
