I go there often but never at meal time. For lunch in August 2024 For €13 they gave me: fresh homemade palia tagliatelle and hay, butter and sage: delicious and plentiful. Grilled trout with mixed salad: excellent A quarter of still, good white. 50cl of water in a sealed bottle coffee. All the truck drivers stop there. It's not a coincidence. If it were closer I would go there very often. Waiter in a hurry because there are a lot of people, but very kind. Well done.

Fixed price at midday but 4 choices for the first course and 4 choices for the second course. Quality food. You eat in the shade.

16/12/2024: I've been there plenty of times but I admit I've never eaten or stayed overnight. So I can only review the location. Very well positioned on the hill that divides Mount Cornizzolo from Corno Birone. In addition to countless more or less steep or demanding paths, the refuge is a destination for cyclists because it can also be reached via an asphalt road that cannot be traveled by cars. Bikes: pay attention during the weekend to the shuttles that go back and forth to take the paragliding pilots up. Excellent place for a picnic on the beautiful lawn adjacent to the refuge. Good view, but not excellent, of the Grigne group. The webcam is useful.
