A trattoria from another era, where customer satisfaction comes first. Excellent food, made with premium ingredients, generous portions, and attentive service. I've been there several times over the past few years, and I've always left more than satisfied. Excellent value.

Good and plentiful dishes, honest prices

The village is a panoramic terrace overlooking the beautiful Piacenza hills. The trattoria is definitely informal, just the way I like it, with excellent service, everyone very kind and ready to accommodate our requests. Awaiting us on the table were a plate of Russian salad and a plate of giardiniera so good it was moving. The traditional Piacenza cured meats were excellent, as were the potato pies. We had a trio of first courses: tortelli al burro with sauce on the side, pissarei e fasö (a kind of pasta with beans), and tagliatelle with mushroom sauce, all delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the second courses, but judging by the aroma of the arredo con patate (a kind of pasta with potatoes) at the table next to ours, they must have been up to par. A place to return to often.

We popped in by chance just for a coffee. What can I say? Coffee costs €1 and a cappuccino €1.50. The owner is incredibly friendly, the place is very clean and charming, with a small adjoining room that's very intimate and romantic. A truly deserved 5 stars.
