I liked both the food and the service. Lots of care in the preparation of the dishes, with fresh pasta and excellent ingredients. The wine chosen by the restaurateur was wonderful and certainly deserved more than one glass (shame having to drive). Good at service. It's a shame we didn't see the fireplace lit because we would have certainly enjoyed it (although I understand that it wasn't essential). A little too loud at times.

Wunderbares Abendessen mit Freunden, sehr zuvorkommender Service, vermutlich Inhabergeführt und gekocht durch ihn. Wir hatten 4 verschiedene Pasta Gerichte und Beilagensalate. Im Anschluss verschiedene Dessert Variationen - es war alles köstlich!!

16/01/2025: Excellent trattoria with very refined cuisine, abundant and very delicious dishes. Very polite staff with clean uniforms. Very welcoming environments, it feels like being with a family. Excellent and very accessible prices. Excellent, very large car park not far from the center of Castiglione and Desenzano. Highly recommended for those who want to spend a few hours in serenity and harmony. Excellent for business lunches and for lunches with family and or for ceremonies. I truly recommend it to everyone. Well done!!!
16/01/2025: 10 minutes from Lake Garda. Trattoria Santa Maria. In Castiglione delle Stiviere (MN). Lunch for 14 euros which includes a rich buffet, first course, second course, water, wine and coffee. Warm and welcoming room. Place frequented by workers and pensioners. It's easier to find a seat than 1pm. The quality of the dishes is excellent. I opted for the orecchiette with turnip tops and skewer. All really good — eating lunch at Trattoria Albergo S. Maria.
