A good lunch with local cuisine, on a weekday in late spring… the place is not very visible but has a small parking lot and a nice space outside.
I think it is a good choice also in the evening.
Too bad it is far from where I live, I would gladly go back.

What can I say about this restaurant, so simply wonderful, exceptional homemade ravioli, free-range chicken with peppers delicious! to make a delicious mop! Generous portions, very kind owners, highly recommended!!!!!

If you happen to be in Valmontone around lunchtime, don't miss out on stopping at Trattoria Elena. I've been there a couple of times, with a local colleague, who brought me here specifically to try the traditional dishes.
The place is simple, a classic trattoria on the hill, but if you find the right day, having lunch outside under the portico is one of those things that is priceless.
If you decide to come here, I can tell you that both times I focused on the first courses, and I was very satisfied. The carbonara is one of the best dishes they cook.
The simplicity of the place, with the friendliness of the staff, make you feel welcomed like at home.
Highly recommended!

Found this place by chance on the web. We had dinner here a few weeks ago and were very satisfied. Great food, excellent quality, larger portions than usual. Price appropriate for what we ate. Limited parking, few places compared to the capacity of the place (but maybe I'm wrong and I didn't realize if you could park elsewhere, ask for info when you book). Absolutely recommended.

Locale con veranda appartato fuori città. Cucina casereccia. Ampio menù di tradizione romana. Tipici gli gnocchi lunghi (simili ai pici toscani) fatti in casa. Svariate le modalità di condimento della pasta: pomodoro pachino, amatriciana, ai funghi, al ragù. Ottimo un contorno di broccoletti ripassati. Dolci classici. Buona pausa per chi viaggia sulla A1.

Siamo stati qui di passaggio perché eravamo andati all’outlet. Abbiamo mangiato bene. La carbonara era ottima e anche il mio pollo alla cacciatora, peccato solo che è arrivato qnd tutti i commensali avevano già finito di pranzare. Per il resto siamo stati bene, abbiamo mangiato all’aperto così i bambini hanno scorrazzato felici
