Trattoria Don Lollò In Agrigento

Cheap restaurant with acceptable food.

I ordered spaghetti carbonara, and while it was edible, it wasn't what you'd expect from a carbonara. The meat was minced superfinely and didn't look like it was made with guanchale. The entire bottom of the dish was covered in a yellow oil that looked like it had been dyed. It had a lot of basil (carbonara doesn't have any), which made it taste like nothing else...

The food was delicious, the service was fast, the quality was good, the dishes were abundant, and the place was very quiet, worthy of recommendation. And since everything was so delicious, we decided to return, receiving the same attention and delight with their dishes.

Good food, serious and polite staff

Spaghetti with garlic, oil, and chilli pepper with cream cannot be tasted or the menu should say "herbs" on each dish without specifying that herbs do not go on everything, as per the norm only salted ricotta goes on. The bathroom is clean, the service is excellent, some precautions need to be reviewed.

5 stars for everything. Cool and intimate place, friendly, smiling, and kind staff. Absolutely excellent prices, especially the delicious, traditional food. Delicious traditional pasta and unbeatable pizza!

A trattoria in the center of Agrigento with outdoor seating in the middle of the street, yet a quiet place. After visiting the Valley of the Temples at 3:30 PM, we found refuge here. Quick service and traditional cuisine. We ordered two starters, a main course, a bottle of wine, and a bottle of water, for a total of €72.50. The pasta with eggplant and swordfish was delicious, as was the grilled swordfish. It's definitely a place that caters to tourists, but the food is perfectly adequate. The prices are perhaps a little high; a spaghetti with eggplant and swordfish for €18 was definitely too high for a trattoria!

Go and try Don Lollò's dishes! An excellent experience, amazing first courses with authentic, exquisite flavors that remind you of home. Everything is truly delicious and excellent value. If you're in Agrigento, trust me, try it!

We're on vacation in Agrigento-San Leone, and we stopped for lunch. The owner was very kind and courteous! The food was generous and tasty, and the prices were reasonable! I highly recommend it.
