Fantastic restaurant with great food and lovely atmosphere. Don't be fooled by the small door because if you go in there is a cozy garden at the back. The chef knew what he was doing and we will be back.

Very cozy restaurant that we just stumbled into as it doesn't make much of a fuss from the outside. But inside! There is a small patio inside the restaurant, so delicious food and extremely nice treatment from the owner! Highly recommended 😊

The meat, the wine, the pasta, the desserts, the digestif, everything was perfect! Esp. the meat was spot-on. We went there late for a quick lunch, and stayed for the full experience, enjoying authentic Italian hospitality - we felt like part of an Italian family. We will for sure be back next time we’re in Florence!

We know Italy quite well. Florence was new for us. After two days of falling for tourist traps ( restaurants with lots of marketing and shitty kitchens) we finally found this little gem. Welcomed by the owner and his friendly staff we got the taste of Tuscany like we were searching for. The restaurant interior is a bit old and not outstanding. But the food was very good. Including the home made Olive oil. We are coming back for the T-bone steak soon.

So lucky to have been recommended this place from a friend - the pork cooked four ways was delicious, the wild boar pasta had a great texture, and the eggplant parmigiana was the best eggplant we’ve had in our lives! The chef was super friendly and spoke about how they make the extra virgin olive oil on the table from their farm. Don’t miss it!

È sempre un piacere tornare in questa trattoria, dove l'ineccepibile cortesia ed educazione dei titolari si sposa alla perfezione con l'abilità dello chef che propone sempre piatti appetitosi e mai banali. Una particolare nota di merito al dolce, così esteticamente piacevole che è stato quasi un peccato mangiarlo. Una trattoria veramente impeccabile. Torneremo sicuramente.

Ristorante consigliato dal proprietario del nostro b&b, toscano doc. Trattoria tipica con cibo ottimo che si ispira alla tradizione casalinga e contadina toscana con una giusta rivisitazione moderna. Ottimi e originali il gelato al pecorino con pere al miele e la salsiccia cruda con spuma di formaggio. Deliziosi i piatti come l'assaggio di mailino in 4 versioni, i pici alla carbonara al tartufo, al sugo di cinghiale o i paccheri con pecorino e cipolle caramellate. Non siamo riusciti ad assaggiare la fiorentina ma in altri tavoli era presente e aveva un aspetto strepitoso. Sfioziose le patatine fritte al momento tagliate a spirale, la pappa al pomodoro e l'aringa con peperoni scottati. Assolutamente consigliato, in una zona tranquilla dal caos turistico di Firenze. Conduzione familiare, qualità ottima, prezzi nella media. Andateci!!

22/08/2025: As we sat down, we were greeted by very friendly and nice staffs, and we were offered some focaccia (slightly salted pizza dough). They’re light and crispy, pretty good. Food came in short time (around 10 minutes tor pasta, and 20 minutes for meat). Pasta here is very delicious, with a good balance of pasta sauce and pasta. The pasta is slightly undercooked and chewy, and sauce clings nicely onto the pasta. The portions for the pasta are also very generous. The price is also reasonable (€10-16) The T bone is pretty expensive (€55/kg, which ours costed €99). The texture is extremely tender, feels like butter. It’s also cool the staff plated it infront of us after cooking. Presentation wise, it’s very nice looking. However I would say it does not got much of a taste to it. I probably would not order again. The sea bass is all right, but too expensive (€26) for the portion and quality. They have deboned the sea bass for us, so the skin and bones are gone (I personally prefer a crispy skinned sea bass served as a whole). The sea bass is smooth, but not much taste to it. A bit disappointing. They also mentioned it will be served with a salad, which the sea bass came with a few slices of potato and tomato. All in all the sea bass is pretty tasteless. For dessert, we’ve had the tiramisu and ice cream. They’re all right. So far this is a pretty good restaurant in terms of pasta. However for the protein wise, it’s not the best.

11/08/2025: Excellent. A stop two minutes from the Valdarno highway exit. Delicious meat, delicately cut, and seasoned with such kindness. Highly recommended.
