Fantastic Saltimbocca alla Romana with Baked Potatoes.

Imagine one evening you're waiting for the train from Naples and it's 3 hours late! Say you had planned a nice dinner with your wife, but it's almost 10 PM. You're at Termini station and you don't think you'll find anything decent open. Then, by chance, you stumble upon what looks like an ancient Roman trattoria. You go in, ask... and the person who welcomes you is kind enough to keep the kitchen open for these last two customers, now past the deadline. And already here you understand that certain things can only happen in Rome and only in some places that still have a true Roman heart. We sit down, wait for the right amount of time, and... A fantastic Greek meal and tripe to die for. I mean... is it possible that a terrible day can suddenly turn for the better? Definitely. And the credit goes entirely to Trattoria Dell'Omo and the special people who served us. Thank you so much! We'll be back.

For work, I often traveled to Rome, always stopping at this typical Roman inn run by the Dall'Omo family. Recently, 30 years later, now retired, I returned to Rome for the Jubilee and had a wonderful dinner at this trattoria, serving the classic "Roman-style" menu. The place remains unchanged and as charming as ever. Antonio, the current owner, a descendant of the Dall'Omo family, is extremely kind, playful, and courteous, and always ready to offer any advice or suggestions you may need. Impeccable Roman cuisine. Good wine and fair prices. Thank you, Antonio, and best wishes for the future... even if I leave behind a carbonara like you know how to make... Bye

This is a quintessential trattoria. Small, casual atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and very good food at a reasonable price. The spaghetti carbonara was excellent!

We went to Rome for a simple day trip, but for dinner, we found ourselves at this wonderful trattoria, where we ate wonderfully and were welcomed with great care and kindness!! 😊 Excellent food, freshly prepared. The staff is very friendly and down-to-earth, attentive to their customers' needs and truly treats you like family, with such warmth and care. Very, very friendly. Amazing authentic, handmade and tasty dishes! The portions were very generous and the value was very good. The pasta dishes were extremely good. The tiramisu was something I’ll dream about for a long time!! The staff really cared about you being there and clearly work hard. So glad we only stayed 3 buildings away in a hotel from here. Our favourite restaurant of our week in Rome!

A REAL trattoria, family-run for years, offering quality traditional dishes and flavors. The food, the warm service, and the family atmosphere make you feel right at home. Lifelong tiramisu lovers can't miss this one. We'll be back!

I went there because my hotel was nearby and it was recommended! I was exploring Rome alone and was nervous, but the staff were kind, the menu was in Japanese, and there were many Japanese flags and messages on the wall, so I was happy😚 The carbonara was a little salty for Japanese people, but the cheese aroma🧀 was delicious The tiramisu was like a smooth pudding, and it was like drinking tiramisu! lol I want to go again🎵Maybe I'll go again tomorrow...
