Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed, which precluded me from trying it, which was a shame because it looked promising and once we got there we had to look for something else. I cannot comment on the food and therefore I leave a halfway review as a sort of "encouragement" and awareness towards the owner to accept dogs in the future.

Really great food, reasonable price. Kindness and friendliness of the owner and his son. The gentleman serving and the man at the counter were a little sulky. Promptness of the waitress. Satisfied....❤

If you are looking for a typical trattoria with ingredients all coming from local producers you absolutely must try this restaurant, and the owner Nello is fantastic!

What can I say... if not first to congratulate Mr. Nello for kindness and helpfulness! Very characteristic place... very welcoming and familiar 👍 (as trattorias want to be) highly recommended starter "Le tre cose".... The veal tripe and the giardiniera!!!..... amazing! We will definitely be back

19/08/2024: If you pass by Vailate and want to eat a pizza that's different from the usual ones, well, this is the right place! The pizza is a very thin sheet but very good. A little long wait but exceptional prices. We also eat other things but I will comment in the next post..
