We dined at this wonderful hamlet and restaurant two weeks ago, for two evenings. The magic and spirituality of this place made us feel wonderful, as did the welcome in this typical restaurant. The quality of the food and the abundance of the dishes were a blast from the past. A tray of cannelloni on the first night, enough for four to eat, not just two; on the second night, two trays of maltagliati and homemade fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, which again could have fed four. There were only two of us, but we finished it all. The main courses were equally plentiful and succulent. We left feeling full, satiated, and eager to visit again. ...all for €30 each. I'd say very fair considering all that goodness. Keep up the good work, we'll be back.

Very informal atmosphere, very authentic dishes, and generous portions. The clientele is made up of both passing visitors and locals. Despite the crowds, the service is still very fast, and the prices are more than reasonable.
It's hard to ask for more 💚
They have an outdoor area overlooking the Greccio square, perfect for those traveling with their four-legged friends.
If you're passing through, perhaps on your way back from the Greccio sanctuary, this is the perfect place to stop.

The restaurant is simply furnished, very welcoming and pleasant, and has air conditioning inside.
We ordered two first courses, the portions were very generous and one dish could easily have fed two people. The cannelloni alla francescana were very good, and the maltagliati alla montanara were equally good 👍🏻👍🏻😋😋😋
For the second course, we had a portion of lamb cacciatore, truly delicious, with sautéed chicory as a side dish (the portion was more than adequate in this dish too). Only the baked potatoes didn't blow me away, but that didn't ruin our lunch 😆😁
And to finish, a delicious tiramisu.
The lady who served us was very kind and attentive, and I want to thank everyone because, despite our late arrival, they allowed us to have lunch, and everyone was very courteous.
So, two generous first courses, a second course, two side dishes, a tiramisu, a can of Coke, and a liter of water, for a total of €60.
We'll be back very willingly 👍🏻😊
