Trattoria del Liberale In Genova

Discovered by chance today. Authentic Genoese dishes, delicious and light! I hadn't had such pesto mandilli in years, not to mention the Ligurian-style rabbit! The view is magnificent and the attentive staff treated us like family... What can I say, we'll definitely be back!

Excellent venue with a fabulous location. We attended a wedding there and had a wonderful time. The dishes are excellent and elaborate.

Con mia moglie siamo stati a cens im questo meraviglioso ristorante trattoria di cucina tipica ligure situato a Genova lungo la strada che dal quartiere di Apparizione porta al Monte Fasce. La strada è in certi punti molto stretta ed a volte sterrata con praticamente zero illuminazione ma poi all’arrivo le cose cambiano. Il ristorante ha diverse sale interne con tanti tavoli ma la parte più bella è l’enorme giardino esterno con tanti tavoli all’aperto e sedie a sdraio con una meravigliosa vista a 360 gradi dall’alto su tutta Genova. In questo ristorante si celebrano comunioni cresime e matrimoni. Disgraziamente quella sera faceva freddo e allora ci siamo sistemati in un tavolo interno. Abbiamo ordinato come antipasti un antipasto misto fritti focaccina fritta, un antipasto delle casa. Come secondi un polpo alla ligure ed un arrosto di maiale in salsa al forno con patate ed infine come dolce strudel di mele. Personale accogliente sorridente competente cordiale e disponibile mentre il servizio è stato attentissimo e velocissimo ed i prezzi veramente buoni!!! The road is very narrow in some places and sometimes unpaved with practically no lighting but then when we arrive things change. The restaurant has several internal rooms with many tables but the most beautiful part is the huge outdoor garden with many outdoor tables and deck chairs with a wonderful 360 degree view from above over all of Genoa. In this restaurant they celebrate communions, confirmations and weddings. Unfortunately that evening it was cold so we sat at an internal table. We ordered a mixed fried appetizer, fried focaccia, a house appetizer as appetizers. As second courses, a Ligurian-style octopus and a roast pork in oven-baked sauce with potatoes and finally an apple strudel as dessert. The staff were welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful while the service was very attentive and fast and the prices were really good!!!

Non era la prima volta che andavamo Al Liberale ma ieri abbiamo festeggiato la Prima Comunione e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Antipasti ottimi e abbondanti con cuculli leggeri, panisse croccanti, insalata russa e focaccette al formaggio. Le torte di verdure e i ripieni erano ottimi. Anche i primi e i secondi sono stati perfetti. Il vino bianco della casa buono e il moscato ottimo. Tutto il personale è stato gentile e ha assecondato le nostre richieste, il servizio è stato veloce e attento anche in una giornata con il ristorante pieno. La vista e il giardino hanno permesso di passare una giornata piacevole. Assolutamente consigliato per eventi ma anche per passare una giornata in compagnia con ottimo cibo.
