The waitress was very kind. The food was good, and the pasta was plentiful. The platter, however, was a bit empty.

The restaurant has a rustic, family-friendly atmosphere. We ordered fried gnocchi with cured meats and three first courses: cacio e pepe, carbonara, and tagliatelle with hare ragù. The dishes were excellent and very generous. I highly recommend it!

Anagni is worth a visit, and this trattoria has several strengths and a few areas for improvement. The welcome is warm and the food is delicious. The pasta with arinfa and broccoli is superb, the carbonara could be improved, and the hare sauce is spectacular. The atmosphere is nice, but it could use some cleaning up, as the things on the walls are a bit haphazard, from the little picture of Padre Pio to the dolls dressed as Santa Claus, and so on. The prices are very fair.

Three stars for a total lack of wine selection, the dishes, however, were good.

After the Colleferro race, we treated ourselves to a family lunch at this trattoria in Anagni, and I must say it was the best choice we could have made. An authentic, sincere place where you truly eat like the old days.
We started with three first courses that were hearty and delicious to say the least:
• Perfect tonnarelli all'amatriciana, perfectly flavorful.
• Creamy, enveloping tonnarelli cacio e pepe, made as tradition dictates.
• High-quality mezze maniche alla carbonara: velvety egg, crispy bacon, perfect balance.
With the second courses, the trattoria confirmed its expertise:
• Extremely tender, flavorful pork shank, with meat falling apart on its own.
• Rabbit cacciatore, masterfully cooked, fragrant and authentic.
• Soft, juicy, melt-in-your-mouth pork cheek.
All accompanied by potatoes, artichokes, and chicory, cooked with the expert hand of traditional Roman cuisine.
A glass of local red wine, simple yet honest, perfectly complemented the dishes.
And then the desserts... a true treat:
• Fragrant and generous Torta della Nonna,
• Amazing chestnut semifreddo,
• Classic and delicious tiramisu.
The owner also offered us another tiramisu: a gesture that speaks volumes about the warmth of the place.
The bill? More than fair for the quantity, quality, and atmosphere.
We left full, satisfied, and with the feeling of having discovered a true, family-run trattoria, where you eat well and feel at home.
Highly recommended. 🍷🍝🍖

A very traditional trattoria in the historic center of Anagni with a welcoming atmosphere.
We had a wonderful time: there were five of us and we had a mountain appetizer, Angus beef carpaccio, and artichokes with prosciutto and parmesan (excellent, really), followed by a side dish each, wine, water, and a wine cake. We paid €30 per person.
We were satisfied and will definitely be back!

The pappardelle with mushrooms and sausages didn't meet expectations, but the carbonara was just okay.
The tagliata was really good.
