A truly family-run trattoria, the kindness of the owner and his son, who serve in the dining room, is indescribable. The chef is his daughter, who prepares excellent dishes. The wines, produced on site, are also excellent, literally "of the house." Excellent value for money. I've repeatedly used the word "excellent": try it and believe it.

This trattoria is out of the way, but that doesn't mean it's inferior to other restaurants. On the contrary, the dishes are both local and have some very interesting twists. The atmosphere is elegant without being overbearing, and the owners are extremely friendly.

26/02/2026: Everything was perfect, the trattoria atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the staff was incredibly kind.
10/02/2026: Fixed-price business lunch. Cold side buffet, including excellent Russian salad. Choice of two first courses or both, and a wide selection of second courses. Friendly service, rustic atmosphere. Recommended!

14/03/2026: Welcoming place and staff. Traditional dishes. We tried: Marubini with three broths, pumpkin tortelli with butter and sage, pumpkin flan with Taleggio cheese fondue, and Sbrisolona with vanilla ice cream and a glass of passito wine. Excellent! The owners were very good at explaining the dishes and their history. Excellent value for money.
11/03/2026: Looking for a place to eat in Cremona on ChatGPT that wasn't the typical tourist trap, we ended up at Trattoria El Sorbir. The place was completely full and we didn't have a reservation, but we waited a few minutes and they kindly found us a table. We didn't know they had a set menu that included a first course, a second course, a drink, and coffee for €15 per person, which we thought was very reasonable, especially considering how plentiful and delicious the food was. Something to keep in mind is that they only speak Italian at the restaurant, but even so, they were very helpful and we were able to communicate without any problems. An authentic and highly recommended experience if you're looking for a local spot in Cremona.
