Great place to eat a tagliata or Florentine steak, the service is excellent, very friendly and fast. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired.

Food was excellent though water was pricey (eur 4 per bottle) and coperto was on the high side (eur 4.50 per pax). Upon presenting the bill, the waiter asked verbally for a “cash-only service fee” that on hindsight was totally not necessary since that would have been covered in the coperto. The tip eventually ended up being around 10% of the bill. Do be mindful of these “hidden” charges and avoid if possible as there is no established tipping culture in Italy.

A typical Fire restaurant, always book in advance!! Traditional Tuscan dishes, well-cooked. The large number of people and the busy atmosphere can certainly make you forget something. The service, however, is impeccable. The atmosphere is full of details, but very busy. The portions are adequate, not large. The prices are mid- to high-end for Florence, in line with all the restaurants in the city center. A dessert will set you back €10 and up. I wouldn't call it a trattoria! A guarantee, though.

Our family went here 2 times in the 4 days we were in Florence. The rigatoni and spaghetti and clams were our favorite and the tiramisu was a great way to end the dinner. The whole restaurant is adorable and the people are incredible, too! They were also easy to work with when we had to adjust our reservation.

Get recommendations from a local to visit and the place is very nice and lovely staff. The florentine steak was our choice and unfortunately it was not so tender and not high qulity meat compared to other places we have tried the same dish in Florence. Still very thankful for hospitality and I think this place is more famous for other dishes, so hopefully we can try them in another trip!

14/08/2025: Excellent location, right in the town square. The room was standard, fairly clean, but a towel was missing, and a bar of soap was already opened. But the biggest problem was the lack of breakfast. We'd mentioned that one of us ate a savory breakfast, but the morning clerk didn't know, so she brought a single croissant and then half a schiacciatina from the next door. The coffee and cappuccino were poor.
