Trattoria Dalla Marisa In Venezia

Attention, I'm on holiday until August 18th.

Good food, set menu for lunch, we tried the zingara as a first course, then the steak with potatoes and peas for the second course, which was truly excellent. The only flaw is that even though we asked how it worked, we weren't told we could choose just one course for €15 instead of €20. I also think the table setting outside could be avoided in advance because pigeons were crawling on the cutlery and glasses. They can be set up as needed, I think. Other than that, a good experience.

If you were lucky enough to have grandmothers or mothers who were good at cooking, you'll feel right at home here, but with a significant bonus: being in Venice, in Canaregio, on the canal after the three-arched bridge. Heavy dishes, with generous sauces, good, well-prepared meat, and even better when there's fish. No desserts, but good, piping hot coffee. Fast and friendly service. A sea breeze will cool your summer lunches, and the sunset will make everything more picturesque. Important detail: it's run entirely by a Venetian family. You must book one of the two sittings.

Great local restaurant right next to the water. Away from the commotion at the city center. Was recommended to me by my local friend who lives in Venice. Food was amazing.

Incredible. Wonderful. Terrific. Spectacular. I came here on my last day, and if I'd known, I would have eaten here every day. It's a place with many locals, which already gives you a clue. There's a 20-euro menu. You can choose between two or three courses. You get a starter, a main course, water, and wine. It also includes a vegetable to accompany and a coffee. You won't find better food at a better price anywhere in Venice. They're professional and try to find a solution for everything. I'm so grateful for this farewell. I just hope they continue to maintain this Italian spirit and these prices. Thank you!!!

Simple, effective, delicious and lively!

Trattoria da'a Marisa is the true Venetian experience. Here, there's no endless menu or dishes straight from the freezer like in most of the city's restaurants. Everything is homemade, and you can taste it. At lunchtime, you share a table with local workers, which immediately sets the tone: this is a true Italian canteen, simple and generous. For €20, you get two dishes, wine, water, and coffee. The value for money is unbeatable in Venice. The neighborhood is popular and far from the tourist hustle and bustle, perfect if you need a break after the city center. A little tip: in the evening, it's best not to arrive after 9 p.m., otherwise it becomes difficult to find something to eat. At lunchtime, however, no problem if you arrive after 1 p.m.

Local fixed menu restaurant that everyone should take the opportunity to experience. All locals and university conference goers hoping to get a seat for lunch, but our party of 21 had a long anticipated reservation. We are so glad we booked that lunch. The pasta was fresh and the sauces were exquisite. The meat options were varied and all were delicious.

The food was divine. Excellent quality products!
