Trattoria dal nonnino In Pompei

Very simple place, traditional home-cooked dishes. Excellent value!

We went after seeing Pompeii and were amazed! It's a typical family-run village restaurant. Don't hesitate to come in! The menu is simple and the food is very, very good. Two people ate for €25!

We went on Sunday where the menu is fixed... 20 euros per person Good appetizers, especially the meatballs and fried food. The first course offerings were questionable The scialatielli were too al dente while the eyes (or so they say but they didn't seem so) were strange because the pesto was bitter The grill was quite good...with a minute more cooking it would have been excellent. The chips were good. Total disappointment for the tart. Positive notes the price and the service.

A very generous menu with good value for money and good home-style cooking!!
