Da Vittorio is a bastion of culinary resistance against the effects of touristification. The retro atmosphere offers a one-of-a-kind experience, especially considering it's in the city. The sign says "typical cuisine" and the menu is absolutely faithful, with no variations on the core themes of traditional Neapolitan dishes: bean or lentil soup (amazing), braciola, and meatballs in tomato sauce, to name a few we tried. No coffee or desserts—there's a bar for those, suggests the sprightly eighty-year-old Vittorio, who welcomes you and his friend as if you were at home. Long live.

Calling it spartan is an understatement that doesn't do justice to the restaurant... portions and bill are absolutely memorable... the dishes of the day are all very fresh and cooked to order... but if you're fussy or overly formal, don't go.

A small trattoria serving traditional Neapolitan cuisine, run by two friends, one in the dining room and the other, Vittorio, in the kitchen. It feels like eating at your grandparents' house. All the dishes we tried (meat, fish, and vegetables) were delicious, lightly prepared with quality ingredients. The atmosphere was old-fashioned and the prices were very fair. A wonderful discovery!

Everything was good, except for the spaghetti with lupini beans. It was spaghetti with oil and then lupini beans were added on top.

We went to this truly delightful little restaurant. It's definitely traditional Neapolitan cuisine. Everything is well-prepared, clean, and very tasty. I tried the bean soup, and I thought it even had tomato in it. The flavor was very balanced, harmonious, and truly delicious. There was also a small fried herring—I don't know what it's called here, but it was delicious. We also had a soft and very pleasant Neapolitan salad. The people were very kind, and it's a truly excellent place. I highly recommend it.

We couldn't even take a photo of the food, it was so good! The vegetables—broccoli, artichokes, and broccoli—were incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The bean soup and small fried fish were simply magnificent. Typical Neapolitan cuisine, authentic and full of flavor! Highly recommended.

The food is excellent, but you shouldn't go on weekends because it's always crowded and the place is small. As for the food, I can say that everything is delicious.
