We returned several times during our seaside stay and can't wait to return next year... excellent homemade food with top-quality ingredients, from appetizers to desserts, including wines, everything very good and digestible, generous portions and always well-presented, very clean place in a beautiful historic villa, fair prices, very knowledgeable and friendly table service, compliments to the chef Salvatore and Desdemona, a delightful person. Well done, keep it up!!! Highly recommended.

We visited this restaurant and had a very positive experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined; the staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive to the customer's needs. The food is excellent: dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The value for money is more than good. It's definitely a place to return to and one I'd recommend.

We spent a week in this wonderful place surrounded by greenery, complete with a swimming pool and a mini park with games for the little ones. As soon as we arrived, the host Salvatore welcomed us, helped us unload the car, and led us to our room. It was clean, spacious, air-conditioned, and had two large windows, one overlooking the pine forest where the chickens roamed free in the morning. The morning began with a sweet breakfast, usually served by Desdemona, the host... fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, and the inevitable pasticciotto, coffee, cappuccino, water, and juice. In the evening, we were delighted by Salvatore's cuisine, which alternated between fish and meat; the dishes were plentiful and varied. They made us feel at home, spoiled and pampered, their unique kindness—people who remain in our hearts. Thank you so much to both of you. We'll be back to visit you again 😊!

LA CANDIERA DESDEMONA "A fundamental point... you can recognize a good rum by its cork; if it's a screw cap, it's EVITAL. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! ! !" Thus concluded my review in August 24th... Here, however, La Locandiera Desdemona, true to her high-sounding name and her tireless memory, has stocked up on the right nectar and serves it in an impeccable snifter, as tradition dictates. The food is excellent, the company stimulating, the atmosphere relaxing: elements that blend into a complete, flawless experience. Why, then, abandon the old road for the new? For the traveler who hasn't yet figured it out: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! ! !
