We had such a wonderful experience here. The food was excellent — truly homely Italian cooking. The grilled beef and grilled potatoes were hearty and full of flavor, and the fresh tagliatelle was perfectly cooked and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service stood out even more. Despite the language barrier, the waitresses were incredibly kind and thoughtful — they even helped us with our crying baby so we could enjoy our meal, which we deeply appreciated. Everything about this place felt warm, friendly, and authentic. No complaints at all — highly recommend to anyone looking for genuine Italian hospitality and excellent local food

This village trattoria tells the story of the local food and wine. Typical Piacenza cured meats accompanied by homemade giardiniera. Tortelli Piacentini made to perfection with thin pasta and a flavorful filling. Pisarei and fasò were equally delicious and characteristic. The main courses were as good as the entire meal. To finish, the apple pie was sublime. The only drawbacks: the excessive heat in the dining room (but it was a truly muggy day), the length of the lunch, and the loud chatter. Lunch on August 15th lasted from 12:30 to approximately 4:00 PM. Nevertheless, Congratulations to all the staff for their dedication and hard work. Well done.

A-MA-ZING - we’ve been travelling through italy for more than a week now and had a few fantastic dinners. This one was our favourite so far though. DELICIOUS home made pasta, maximum authentic atmosphere (very simple, very rustic, but trueschool), super low prices, super friendly staff, great wine. Perfetto

Highly recommended for both lunch and dinner! Typical Piacenza dishes! A small place with warm lighting, a welcoming atmosphere like a true trattoria, perfect for both a dinner with friends and a romantic dinner. Local wines. Homemade cuisine, all homemade, including tortelli, gnocco fritto, desserts, and giardiniera. Everything was delicious. The tiramisu, made with sponge cake, had an incredibly light cream. The chocolate salami was also delicious! 🍫 If you want a different and sweet liqueur, get the Nutellino! (Please note that I'm referring to the new management that started in February 2025.)

We've been to Pirö several times, both in winter and summer. During the winter, the interior of the trattoria is very warm and welcoming. In summer, however, you can dine in a beautiful outdoor space overlooking the surrounding hills and carefully lit mosquito coils. When the sun goes down, you can light a small lamp on your table and the atmosphere becomes even more pleasant. The menu offers just the right number of dishes: not too many, not too few. Traditional recipes from Piacenza (and beyond) are carefully prepared. All the flavors are well-balanced, and the dishes are beautiful to look at. A special mention goes to the tortelli, thin and flavorful. The appetizer of cured meats, vegetables, frittata, giardiniera, and cheeses is also very good, served with either gnocco or burtleina, depending on availability. The meat-based main courses are carefully cooked and flavorful. The desserts are also excellent; we were pleasantly surprised by a very fresh Sicilian cannoli. Mrs. Marta knows how to take care of her customers with great kindness, smiles, and attention. Congratulations to everyone, it's always a pleasure stopping by!
