It was one of the few open restaurants.The food was really good. I had Ravioli with cod. The waitress was so kind to tell us from the beginning the service was gong to be slow.

The food itself was really delicious, but the service was really not good at all. I ordered a drink with my food and it only arrived after I had already finished eating. The waitress claimed it was because they ran out of ice, but during the entire meal they didn't come to us to apologize for the delay, we assumed they had simply forgotten. In the end, this cocktail wasn't tasty at all either.

Excellent restaurant, good and high-quality food, you can really feel that everything is handmade and that the ingredients are fresh and high quality. However, the service wasn’t very pleasant for me. There’s no menu in English, but we used Google Translate. The dishes arrived together, but it took quite a while for them to come, though in the end they did arrive. Although the food was really good and definitely deserves 5 stars, the service wasn’t very good, so it doesn’t deserve 5 stars.

Vanilla Wine&Restaurant

15/11/2025: The food was good. Surprise: the limoncello at the end was delicious. 😍
05/10/2025: Our first evening in Castellammarre di Stabia and we found this gem of a restaurant. Perfectly placed for watching the sunset but what topped watching the day end was the wonderful cuisine and service offered here at Vanilla. The food is delicious, beautifully presented with wonderful service by this truly family run restaurant. The chef personally serves your chosen dish which was lovely which added to this special evening. We just couldn't leave once finished, so chose to have a few glasses of wine whilst soaking up the wonderful atmosphere. A must visit if you are staying in this area.
