We ate here following our B&B reservation and were warmly welcomed, despite not having given advance notice that we would be staying for dinner. The dishes we chose were excellent, from the platter to the main courses. Top marks go to Gabriella, always smiling, extremely kind, and helpful.
As for the ambiance, I liked the decor and would recommend paying attention to a few more details to make this place truly perfect.

We chose this place after seeing a video on Instagram from a food blogger from Livorno... the restaurant wasn't the same as the one in the video at all... the service was slow, inattentive, with oversights after oversights... the bill was €25 per person, more or less, with two dishes each. The food was average.

Slow service, and it was Wednesday. There were four of us who came in at 8:00 PM and left at 10:30 PM. I didn't like the Tuscan soup. The bread was cut into thick slices. The whole cabbage was very chunky, and soaked in unabsorbed broth. The burrata and scampi risotto and the wild boar pappardelle were good. The main courses were edible. €40 per person for four first courses, three second courses, two roast potatoes, and two bottles of house white wine.

We were well advised. The owners and staff were friendly, the location in Montenero is beautiful, with an enchanting sea view (especially at sunset), and we ate really well.
Very relaxed. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!!
