Trattoria Da Mauro In Teramo

We went here on Saturday the 28th for lunch, and the experience was exactly what we were looking for: substance and no frills. The Food: Home cooking in the noblest sense of the word. We tried first courses that tasted "homemade" and second courses cooked to perfection, without excessive seasoning but bursting with flavor. The Portions: The portions here are generous, almost old-fashioned. We left feeling full and satisfied, an increasingly rare thing these days. The Bill: The real surprise. Unbeatable value for money. It's one of those rare places where you eat well, and I'd even say very cheap compared to the current average. The Atmosphere: Informal and convivial atmosphere. Fast and friendly service, despite the restaurant being full. We'll definitely be back.

Very good for the price you pay

Second visit to Mauro's in Teramo. Found it by chance, but a return visit was a must. Short opening hours, busy. Reservations are necessary. The two of us were lucky and managed to snag a table. The menu is small. Definitely try the carbonara, the best I've ever had. Incredible portions for a great price. If I'm ever in the area, I'll eat here again and again and recommend it to everyone. A cozy little place, delicious food. The portions are generous, and the entrees are special. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend making a reservation because there are only a few tables.

A very positive experience!!! The beautiful and welcoming restaurant is located in the historic center of Teramo, just steps from the Duomo. Excellent home cooking with several typical Teramo dishes and generous portions...if you want to try more than one dish, I recommend the half portion. Mauro and his staff are extremely kind, friendly, and hospitable. Exceptional value for money. Highly recommended!!! 💯

A very small place in the center, so if you want to eat, you'll need to book in advance. The dishes are truly excellent and very generous...I'll never forget the fried cheese! My mouth is still watering 😍 It's family-run, and I highly recommend it.
