Pereta is a gem, and the restaurant was fantastic—both for its location, recommendations, and extremely kind staff—and the excellent food. My favorite dish: suckling pig! The prices are old-fashioned. We recommend booking.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria da Maria Moretti and were truly impressed. Delicious traditional cuisine, excellent ingredients, friendly staff, and more than fair prices. We also had the pleasure of meeting Luciano, a wonderful person. We can't wait to go back. Highly recommended! Don't miss it.

What can I say! I don't know where to start—from the super courtesy and friendliness of the owner and his staff, to the delicious food, to the fair price that few offer these days, or even the location? Well, for me, it's all 5 stars, but I would have given more if I could, especially to the owner and his staff! Thanks Luciano!

If you're in the area, you simply must spend an evening here. Fantastic food, wonderful service, and a fantastic atmosphere. I highly recommend it. If anyone finds room for dessert, congratulations! They must have traveled over 1,500 km, just like we did.

A new favorite place where sincerity reigns supreme! A set menu with generous servings, local cuisine, and quality food for only €27. Very friendly waiters, excellent service, and a classic Maremma village atmosphere. Top marks! (Please don't ever change 🙏🏻)

Finalmente anche io faccio parte di chi ha avuto il piacere di cenare da Luciano... persona squisita... a cui faccio i miei più sinceri complimenti... che dire... cucina eccezionale.. prodotti fatti in casa e si vede... prezzo stracciato per un menu fisso di 30 euro dall'antipasto al caffè... non c'è discussione...posso solo aggiungere una info per chi si appresta ad andare per la prima volta... potrebbe succedere che google maps prima di giungere su al paese vi chieda di svoltare a sx per una salita ripidissima.. poiché trovandosi in pieno centro non è possibile accedere con la macchina... procedete per circa 700-800 mt circa ci sono due ampi parcheggi sulla dx... in cima vedrete la torre.. arrivate lì a piedi sulla sx c'è una strada tipica di un centro cittadino farete 50mt a dx si trova la trattoria...e buon appetito...

21/07/2025: A typical Tuscan restaurant with meticulous attention to detail, offering a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. The staff are incredibly kind, humble, and smiling, with a rare desire to make their guests feel welcome. Even though we arrived near closing time, they welcomed us with kindness and attentiveness. Excellent food, carefully crafted dishes, and interesting off-menu options. A truly delightful experience that I recommend to anyone seeking quality and genuine hospitality.

21/08/2025: Gianni and his team are definitely in a different league. I've been coming here for a while and have always found the restaurant to be welcoming, with quality ingredients, excellent dishes, and impeccable service. But last night, in the midst of a real downpour with a general power outage that put everyone to the test, I had the final confirmation. With savoir faire and great professionalism, Gianni and his staff—in a truly challenging situation—managed the unexpected, rearranging the dining room with all guests indoors without losing their smiles. And, as always, an excellent dinner was served. Well done everyone.
13/08/2025: The food is good and the atmosphere is very refined, clearly showing attention to detail. The staff is friendly, although the service isn't always impeccable: it can take a bit long and there are some oversights in table management. There are some high-end touches, like the amuse-bouche or the small pastries, but it's a shame they're not consistently served: sometimes they arrive at a table, sometimes not, or dishes come out first for those who ordered later. In any case, we ate well and had a pleasant experience, although with a few adjustments, it could really be top-notch.
