It's exactly what I expected to find in a trattoria: authentic, flavorful food. I had gnocchi, grilled lamb, and sautéed broccoli—all very good. The welcome was friendly and professional. I'll be back.

My friends and I wondered why the rating was so low, given the welcoming atmosphere and good, typical trattoria-style meals. Then, when the bill arrived, we realized: it's an affordable place, but the prices aren't commensurate with the type of restaurant. The service is excellent, the tagliatelle with mushrooms are delicious, and the polenta is good. Charging €14 for three slices of tough, gristly pork certainly means it can't get 5 stars. Too bad. With slightly lower prices, I'm sure it would deserve a full 5 stars.
