My friends and I wondered why the rating was so low, given the welcoming atmosphere and good, typical trattoria-style meals. Then, when the bill arrived, we realized: it's an affordable place, but the prices aren't commensurate with the type of restaurant.
The service is excellent, the tagliatelle with mushrooms are delicious, and the polenta is good. Charging €14 for three slices of tough, gristly pork certainly means it can't get 5 stars.
Too bad.
With slightly lower prices, I'm sure it would deserve a full 5 stars.

If you'd like to visit the Garda Abbey, I highly recommend Ristorante Da Lupi. If you're looking for good food, you've come to the right place. Excellent cuisine from the owner, who is also the chef. I highly recommend the pizza, but especially the delicious pasta dishes and escalopes with porcini mushrooms. I'd gladly return.

I loved the trattoria. It was recommended to us by a lady from Fara Sabina, we were looking for a local restaurant and she told us about the Trattoria. The place is beautiful, the borgo, the landscape, delicious. The food is very good, everything is genuine, good quality. The sweets are good and the staff are friendly.

We went for a walk and had a family lunch, we had a great time, simple but very good and quality dishes, excellent service, the waiter who served us and looked after us throughout the service was good, professional and very welcoming, he couldn't have done his job better, he was a tall, slim guy with a moustache, we will definitely be back and I recommend it

Per chi visita l'Abbazia di Farfa e il suo borgo Lupi è una delle opzioni. Locale pulito e con tavoli ben disposti e non ammucchiati. Abbiamo preso maltagliati all'amatriciana, è la prima volta che trovo questa accoppiata, abbacchio scottadito, patate al forno, crostata alle visciole. Tutto ottimo. I maltagliati all'amatriciana sono serviti su un piatto di legno che mantiene il calore della pietanza. Sugo buonissimo, leggermente piccante, ma con presenza del guanciale alla capitan Uncino (5 pezzi). Ci sarà una via di mezzo tra la quantità che uso a casa e questa.
Abbacchio scottadito superbo. Tenerissimo, ben condito e alla brace. Patate e crostata all'altezza.
Da ripetere.
