We have known this place for years, having had guests at home we opted to introduce genuine food, everyone was satisfied and we will definitely be back. Congratulations 👍

We booked on a Saturday evening, very friendly and well-trained staff, very good service, good food with the classic local specialities, excellent wine too, but the price was too high and not justified in relation to what we ate, 2 starters, 3 first courses, 2 second courses, 2 desserts, a bottle of wine, 1 of water, we spent over 130 euros.

Every time I go here, everything is impeccable, veal tip and ribs are a must try, every dish is delicious and made with excellent raw materials. I would say a guarantee, we recommend it

Country restaurant located in a pleasant hillside location, along the road that winds through vegetable gardens and vineyards and connects the town of Vernasca, in the Piacenza area, with the Via Emilia. Here time seems to have stopped: the atmosphere is relaxing, reassuring, the wine offered is sparkling and digestible and the dishes are all delicious. Fried dumplings served with the wonderful local cured meats and the traditional giardiniera, potato cake, mushrooms, tagliatelle, exquisite herb tortelli drowned in butter and parmesan, a great choice of second courses. Nice offer of desserts too, we tasted the typical local cakes, preferring the sbrisolona to be "pucciare" in the vin santo. Maybe it's because I grew up here, in the Piacenza area, but these places move me.

We stayed at this restaurant for two evenings. 4 adults and a two year old child. We enjoyed the welcome, the kindness, the excellent food and the region. Fair price. 1 aubergine parmigiana, 1 pumpkin tortelli, 1 cheese anolini, 2 roast rabbits with side dish, 4 desserts (excellent) 1/4 of wine, 2 bottles of water, tomato pasta for the child, 3 coffees spent 105 euros. Recommended without doubt.

Dopo aver visitato Borgo Vigolego, splendido castello, è un panorama collinare a 360 °, una vera cura dello sguardo, ci siamo recati a pranzo dalla Trattoria Luigi. Trovati molto bene, locale in parte all aperto, quindi abbiamo pranzato con un venticello sottofondo molto piacevole. Abbiamo consumato, piatti freschi, ma ci sono portate di primi e carni davvero eccezionali, tagliata, coniglio ect. Vitello tonnato e brasato OTTIMI. Gnocco fritto e salumi molto buoni. Servizio cortese, molto contenti. Torneremo presto. Grazie.
