A good trattoria, but nothing special. Good value for money.

The food is really good... simple but all good

It was a business dinner, but I try to eat well, and that's what I did. The place was nice and the prices were reasonable. It's worth it.

Excellent Tuscan and Lucca cuisine, featuring a variety of local specialties. Excellent ingredients create flavorful dishes ranging from soups to various first courses and delicious second courses (the tripe is excellent). The owner, Moreno, is very friendly, and the entire restaurant staff is friendly. Reservations are recommended.

I found this trattoria thanks to the owner's brother (owner of "Trattoria da Ubaldo"). A very rustic atmosphere, with very good dishes, from starters to desserts, serving just the right amount to enjoy several dishes. Spectacular value, allowing us to eat well for little money, plus they even offered us three shots of limoncello ;)

I had some of the best spareribs with potatoes in the world here for just €13! (The photo doesn't look very appetizing since I took the meat apart already and ate alot it's very tender)

The true "old-fashioned" osteria We've just finished our lunch and already feel the need to review this truly characteristic place. Excellent dishes with ancient flavors! The Frantoiana soup was a true delight for our palate. The tortelli al ragù, another typical Lucca dish, are also excellent... Here, you can taste the home cooking that brings back memories. The wine in the flask flows like a charm. The fig and walnut cake that almost concluded our lunch was truly delicious. Even the excellent coffee and the Amaro di Lucca liqueur offered by the owner made our stop a truly memorable one!!! Last but not least... indeed... the very professional service, everyone was very kind, fast, and friendly. They also welcome furry friends! Highly recommended. Excellent welcome and quick, friendly service. The only complaint was that the beef steak couldn't be cut with the standard knives they gave us, and when we asked for a steak knife, we were told they didn't have steak knives, only standard ones (if steak is on the menu, you absolutely have to have the right tools to cut it at the table). Otherwise, everything was good and the prices were reasonable.
