I came alone without a reservation, but was able to get in right away. Although there have been some negative reviews about the portion sizes and service, the pasta was just the right amount, the meat was rather generous and, above all, delicious, and the service was very friendly, with a smile on their face.

An excellent restaurant for those seeking traditional cuisine, a favorite among Florentines. We dined at this superb restaurant twice during our week in Florence, slightly removed from the historic center and in the company of exclusively Italians. A fantastic menu, with expertly prepared dishes (from pasta to meat to traditional soup). Attentive service, a chef who connects with the customers, checking in to see if they are enjoying their meal. A must-try! Thank you to the team and the kitchen for their expertise.

What a great place! Real authentic taste of Italy, offering local florentine cuisine. So many fantastic tastes to try and relish, we loved it! Amazing choice of local wines too.

I don't understand some of the very positive reviews. We had a Fiorentina, and you have to eat the meat rare; it's indicated on the menu. You don't see the raw Fiorentina; you only find out the actual weight on the bill. The meat was okay, but at €60/kg, you expect more. More bones than actual meat, the meat was very marbled, poorly cut, and unpleasant to eat. The side dishes were okay, but the beans were lackluster. Without the appetizer, the bill was quite high.
