The food was quite good, but the quality/price ratio was too high. The service was fast and friendly, but the place felt a bit claustrophobic.

What a great place! Real authentic taste of Italy, offering local florentine cuisine. So many fantastic tastes to try and relish, we loved it! Amazing choice of local wines too.

I don't understand some of the very positive reviews. We had a Fiorentina, and you have to eat the meat rare; it's indicated on the menu. You don't see the raw Fiorentina; you only find out the actual weight on the bill. The meat was okay, but at €60/kg, you expect more. More bones than actual meat, the meat was very marbled, poorly cut, and unpleasant to eat. The side dishes were okay, but the beans were lackluster. Without the appetizer, the bill was quite high.

A small restaurant not far from the city center with a traditional atmosphere. We ordered a mixed cured meats appetizer and a Florentine steak paired with an excellent Chianti, both exceptional. The staff was helpful, friendly, and approachable. A great experience, definitely worth repeating on our next visit to Florence!

14/11/2025: The meat was delicious. We were served pate foie gras, but we didn't like it much; it wasn't to our taste, but it was good. Since we didn't like foie gras, they brought us a side of bread with thyme, olive oil, and tomatoes. The waiter was very attentive, and the atmosphere was nice and warm.
09/11/2025: Good vibes, rustic setting in a cave like dining place. Good Food, service still to be improved. All things in menu reasonably priced. We enjoy the food.

09/11/2025: Very limited selection of unoriginal dishes: they may be organic, but they lacked flavor. Portions were modest. Service was quick and friendly. A vegetarian restaurant should strive to offer creative, flavorful dishes that are pleasing to the eye and palate, but this was a disappointment.
07/11/2025: 5ecinque is my favourite restaurant in Firenze. Not only do they make delicious and interesting vegetarian food, it is a beautiful spot, full of character. The owner and staff are lovely, too. A true gem where I am always happy to return ❤️
