Thank you that there are still places like this. Thank you for the trip to the Italy of my youth. Among all these hip restaurants with lots of veggie and gluten-free options on the menu, the only other affordable options you'll find are pizza or young do-gooders. We had wonderful cozze marinara, perfectly prepared pasta, and scalopina limone that truly deserve the name. Apart from the food, nothing is perfect, but the service is very attentive and friendly. You feel welcome. I don't understand the bad reviews. People like that would be better off with a tourist restaurant with the motto: eat a lot, pay little! Recommended. You can find them all over the world. The i calabrese is tucked away in Genoa's Centro Storico.

recently visited Trattoria da Giulia in Genoa, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was truly delicious – authentic Italian flavors prepared with great care. The hosts were warm and welcoming, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Everything was clean and well-presented, and you can really feel the passion they put into their cuisine. On top of that, the prices are very fair and reasonable. If you’re in Genoa and want to enjoy genuine Italian food in a friendly and cozy place, I highly recommend Trattoria da Giulia!

I don't understand so many negative reviews. If you want to try authentic Ligurian cuisine, feel its atmosphere and mania, this is the place to go. It's leisurely, tasty, and atmospheric – visit in the evening with a pint of white wine, a cheese and cold cuts platter, and local pastas – ravioli ala ragou and pasta with potatoes, pesto, and green beans. We also observed the neighboring tables – the seafood looked amazing. I think it's worth it 🤩

Trattoria in the heart of the historic center of Genoa, home cooking and welcoming atmosphere, fixed menu for lunch, à la carte in the evening, excellent value for money. Suitable for families, couples, small groups. Recommended!

Hidden gem in a nice piazza. I had a great meal, mussel spaghetti which I loved. Very friendly staff as well and reasonable price. I highly recommend it.
