Located in a charming little square. The place is spacious but a bit cold. The food could be better, despite the very low prices. Service is average.

Among all these hip restaurants with lots of veggie and gluten-free options on the menu, the only other affordable options you'll find are pizza or young do-gooders. We had wonderful cozze marinara, perfectly prepared pasta, and scalopina limone that truly deserve the name. Apart from the food, nothing is perfect, but the service is very attentive and friendly. You feel welcome. I don't understand the bad reviews. People like that would be better off with a tourist restaurant with the motto: eat a lot, pay little! Recommended. You can find them all over the world. The i calabrese is tucked away in Genoa's Centro Storico.

recently visited Trattoria da Giulia in Genoa, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was truly delicious – authentic Italian flavors prepared with great care. The hosts were warm and welcoming, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Everything was clean and well-presented, and you can really feel the passion they put into their cuisine. On top of that, the prices are very fair and reasonable. If you’re in Genoa and want to enjoy genuine Italian food in a friendly and cozy place, I highly recommend Trattoria da Giulia!
