Trattoria Da Francesco e Teresa In Nettuno

It's an old-style, family-run trattoria type place, with the wife in the kitchen and the very kind and friendly husband in the dining room. I took mussels marinara and spaghetti with clams... both good. Simply fabulous lemon delight. Competitive price compared to the square. Highly recommended. Returned after a year, in addition to spaghetti with clams (a cult), had Roman artichoke and ricotta and pear cake, both spectacular.

Having just left this restaurant, I have to say everything is top, family service, high quality and well prepared food, what can I say, deserved applause and good work. Absolutely worth trying.

Abbiamo pranzato in 3 adulti di domenica. Abbiamo prenotato trovando posto alle ore 14:15. Locale in centro, molto piccolo ma raccolto ed accogliente. Il titolare è persona gentile, discreta ed affabile, prende personalmente le comande e segue premurosamente i clienti durante il pasto. I prezzi, medio-alti, sono riportati sul menu, che viene portato all'inizio (è anche consultabile su internet). Mezzo litro di vino bianco della casa (discreto), 1 acqua min., 2 antipasti (insal. di polpo e cozze alla marinara, entrambi squisiti), 2 primi (riso alla pescatora, eccellente ed abbondante + spaghetti alle vongole, buoni ma non di particolare gustosità), 2 secondi (frittura di calamari e gamberi, gusto davvero eccezionale e quantità generosa, servita bollente+ 1 grigliata di pesce), 2 dolci, 1 caffè. Prezzo pagato € 110. La preparazione del cibo è davvero pregevole, anche se alcuni ingredienti ittici sono surgelati, come riportato sul menu (ad esempio, la frittura di calamari e gamberi, che sembrerebbero freschissimi e che raccomando vivamente). In conclusione, un'esperienza più che positiva, che credo replicheremo. Complimenti Sig. Francesco

A small and cozy restaurant with very good dishes and local wines. The very kind owner made us feel at home, perfect prices for such good food, we will definitely be back soon

I gave 5 stars to everything because despite being a simple and perfectly homemade trattoria, there is nothing artificial about it and even the dated furnishings are an integral part of the authenticity of the place and its fish cuisine which I rate as excellent twice over. And to finish in glory I recommend a good lemon delight from Sal de Riso and the very Italian Wunderbar amaro kindly offered by Francesco.

Trattoria a livello familiare, con un servizio impeccabile ed un’ottima cucina. Lo consiglio a chi non cerca troppi fronzoli.Ci tornerò sicuramente.
