Completely unexpected! Excellent Italian-Peruvian restaurant, small, typical family run, with a few dishes and a few off-menu dishes of the day that are delicious to say the least! Note of merit for the homemade tagliatelle with meat sauce and brownie with chocolate mousse! Not to mention the hot focaccia instead of bread! Highly recommended, congratulations on the service!

Unexpected restaurant in the busy Caruggi. Excellent welcome and availability, not to mention the dishes: octopus in sauce a delicacy, even the fried anchovies truly delicious. Very generous and refined dishes, the simple first courses of pasta with pesto (obviously homemade) for the little ones are also excellent. Note of merit also indoors: not simple bread but freshly baked succulent focaccia. Informal and family environment, to spend a quiet and above all excellent dinner in peace!

In the middle of the historic center beyond Piazza della Lepre, we went there on Saturday evening. Really good food and very friendly staff. Very welcoming and not crowded place.

Excellent food, I tried the lomo sauté and it was spectacular, very good, you can feel the Latin flavor, also the Peruvian beer very good with a touch of Malta. This restaurant is a hidden gem.

Must eat in Genova for sure. Really nice and friendly, family lead trattoria. Fresh ceviche and tartars of top quality. Second course is a recommendation as well! Thanks a lot Team Retro Cucina.

Had a delicious meal here -- nettle tagliatelle with tomato pesto and burratta, ligurian fish of the day, and the pasta with Bolognese sauce were highlights but everything was very good. Friendly staff and casual easy-going vibes. Recommended!

Truly anonymous environment, I would have expected something more from an ethnic cuisine but I don't want to dwell on this. Decent service, average, everyone quite nice. Let's get to the less nice things: a bottle of wine divided into 4, each of us then took 1 appetizer (really excellent), 1 first or second course (much less good), coffee and ammazzacaffè. Total 208 euros, 52 each? I'm sorry but it doesn't fit at all. Usually I don't even look too much at the price but this is really exaggerated... For this I should give 2 stars but the starters were really good so I'll go up to 3

29/12/2024: Home cooking, excellent service, fair price. The waitresses were all kind, they didn't miss anything, they always had the right amount of attention towards the customer, even the wait for the dishes was short.
