Excellent choice for those looking for a fusion experience between Italian and Peruvian cuisine. High quality products (we only tried fish-based dishes, really fresh!) which are offered as the result of an interesting search for flavors and combinations. I suggest depriving the ceviche and fish soup, delicious!

A beautiful discovery! Today we had lunch at Retrocucina, a small trattoria in the Genoese alleys serving Italian and Peruvian cuisine. The starters were excellent: we tasted the parmigiana, the ceviche (delicious) and the crispy octopus. The first courses are also very good, the pasta is homemade. Very kind staff, an address to keep.

We stayed on Sunday 5 April; found it by chance reading the positive reviews, upon leaving the aquarium visit. It was a pleasant discovery, very good food and helpful and kind staff. The Peruvian cocktails are also excellent. The only downside is the location which for those who don't belong to the center of Genoa may seem a bit difficult... for the rest I would definitely recommend it.

I was here on Sunday 23/02, classic family lunch,
it was just us and one other table.
Characteristic restaurant of Italian-Peruvian cuisine, you can find revisited Italian fish and meat dishes, but also traditional South American dishes, all very good.
The welcome is great and the staff is very kind. prices perhaps slightly above average, but considering the convenience (a few steps from the ancient port) it's honestly worth it.
I'll be back😉.
ps. try the beef and rice with sautéed onions and tomatoes 😋

Simple but pleasant environment. Wholemeal pasta with artichokes and good fondue. Good revisited parmigiana perhaps too soaked. It was a shame that lunch was eaten in the cold.

Completely unexpected!
Excellent Italian-Peruvian restaurant, small, typical family run, with a few dishes and a few off-menu dishes of the day that are delicious to say the least!
Note of merit for the homemade tagliatelle with meat sauce and brownie with chocolate mousse! Not to mention the hot focaccia instead of bread!
Highly recommended, congratulations on the service!

Unexpected restaurant in the busy Caruggi. Excellent welcome and availability, not to mention the dishes: octopus in sauce a delicacy, even the fried anchovies truly delicious. Very generous and refined dishes, the simple first courses of pasta with pesto (obviously homemade) for the little ones are also excellent. Note of merit also indoors: not simple bread but freshly baked succulent focaccia.
Informal and family environment, to spend a quiet and above all excellent dinner in peace!
