A fantastic experience. This small but cozy restaurant offers excellent traditional Roman dishes. The owner is exceptional, and the service is impeccable, with polite and professional waiters. The dishes are generous and reasonably priced. We ate a bit of everything, including the fantastic carbonara and rigatoni alla pajata, a specialty. Homemade desserts, and a truly excellent tiramisu! I highly recommend it.

Typical Roman dishes, though not truly excellent. After a light appetizer of bruschetta and a cheese plate, six of us ordered two carbonaras, an amatriciana, a pappardella with wild boar, ravioli, and a pasta alla Erik. We each sampled each other's dishes, all excellent, tasty, and high-quality. We also ordered Roman-style tripe and a portion of coratella with onions, both excellent. Very satisfied and surprised to have found this place just steps from Villanova. The owner and staff were friendly and always available to answer any questions. I will definitely be back.

A small restaurant with very good food and friendly, welcoming staff. I recommend the expertly prepared carbonara, but the main courses are also very good; the tagliata with chicory was a particular favorite. I highly recommend it if you want to try good Roman dishes.

My parents and I went here for lunch. We found the atmosphere simple but well-kept and clean. The service was friendly and attentive to the customer's needs. The prices were truly reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food offered. But what I really care about is that, unlike many places that boast of traditional cuisine, here you REALLY get traditional Roman dishes, cooked to perfection. Definitely worth a try.

Excellent Roman cuisine, carefully prepared using fresh ingredients, served in aluminum pans with great courtesy and customer service.
We happened to be in the area and gave it a try. Even though the owner was expecting a busload of tourists, he was so kind and welcoming, finding us a table for a quick and tasty lunch.
The rigatoni with pajata was delicious, with the most delicate and tender pajata I've ever eaten, a sign that it was truly fresh and well-cooked. The tripe was equally delicious. The carbonara was flavorful and well-rounded. The offal was very good and tender.
The grilled fillet was flavorful and tender.

Last night we were supposed to go to dinner at another restaurant, but we booked late and there was no room, so we decided to try something new and we went to Erik, some went for the classic (matriciana) some went for tonnarelli à la Erik, I chose the ravioli with pine nut and walnut pesto, to say everything was delicious, for the second course the sliced steak was spectacular, what can I say, sometimes fate, generous portions, a round of applause for all the staff, the only downside is that there are few places, so if you want to book in advance

Thanks to a traffic jam on the highway, we exited at Guidonia-Montecelio.
Googling, we found Erik, who welcomed us even though it was almost 2:00 PM.
What can I say?
Super!!!
Super carbonara, super gricia, super tripe, super beans with pork rinds, super saltinbocca...
And everyone was incredibly kind...
We didn't manage to eat the desserts, but they really stuck with us...
We'll be back!!
