We were invited to this restaurant for a first communion.
It is located in Giucano, a hilltop hamlet of Fosdinovo.
From the restaurant you can enjoy a stunning view of the surrounding woods and part of the valley.
We ate very well and
despite the large number of guests (several first communions) the service was excellent.

Place on the hill with a beautiful view, very large room suitable for large lunches or dinners, bright with large veranda with open view. Clean room and impeccable bathroom, kind and empathetic staff, attentive and vigilant for every request. You can choose from menus of 25 euros including cold cuts, cheese, a first or second course, dessert and coffee. Or à la carte. Exceptional cured meats and gorgonzola, abundant first courses and exceptional pasta, exquisite wild boar sauce. Highly recommended ++++

Fresh and well-kept environment, courteous and competent service. Excellent sgabei, crispy and dry, very good cured meats, tasty grilled vegetables too. I then tried the tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, very well done, and the "buttera", a delicious discovery, very tasty pork ribs, note the roast potatoes that are often mediocre in restaurants and instead surprised me in a positive way. Valid house red wine.
I did not try the desserts because the portions are abundant.
Go there, it's worth it!

We had lunch at Emili's and the environment was very nice as was the service, however I found some negative notes about the food.
The ravioli with meat sauce didn't taste like meat sauce, they tasted too much of tomato and the dough wasn't that great, the tagliatelle with wild boar were FULL of cloves which took away the flavor and the pasta was so cooked that they were no longer tagliatelle but maltagliati, the gnocchi fail. The suckling pig with potatoes is good. I have to be honest, I left the APPLE PIE on my plate because at the first bite I spat it out (sorry) it had a bad taste and honestly it looked like it was put on and didn't taste like apples at all but 0.
Good stools and cured meats.
I recommend reviewing the kitchen a little because otherwise I would say it's excellent
