Dinner with friends on Saturday evening. The place, with plenty of tables, is pleasant, and the conversation isn't disturbed by the noise. The service was quick, and Felipe was very friendly, managing to accommodate a chaotic group. The sgabei were good and plentiful, as were the cured meats and testaroli. Overall, the food was good and the price was right.

The restaurant is located in a small village perched in the mountains overlooking Sarzana, near the beautiful village of Fosdinovo. The road is winding, but I guarantee you'll be rewarded with well-cooked dishes and generous portions of local tradition. From the outside, it looks rustic, but the interior is elegant and pleasant. Fast service.

Ristorante Emili, located in the heart of the charming village of Giucano (municipality of Fosdinovo), is a true gem of local culinary art. The location is splendid: a cozy and authentic atmosphere, nestled among the village's narrow streets, worth the visit in itself. The welcome was excellent from the moment we arrived. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, they still reserved a small space for us from which to admire the extraordinary surrounding landscape. This detail, while different from what we had imagined, did not detract from the wonder of what we enjoyed. The culinary journey was truly memorable. We began with tagliatelle with mushrooms, incredibly fresh and flavorful, followed by fried and sautéed mushrooms, both expertly prepared. The wild boar stew was a true triumph of tradition, intense and perfectly balanced. To round out the meal, the panzanelle accompanied by exceptional cured meats, with a genuine and authentic flavor. The staff was always kind, attentive, and available to answer any questions, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. Finally, the bill was absolutely in line with the quality of the dishes and service. A practical detail: there's a large parking lot near the restaurant, very convenient for visitors, given that only residents are allowed to park in the village. In conclusion, Emili is a restaurant we recommend without hesitation to anyone looking for an authentic gastronomic experience immersed in a setting of rare beauty. We will definitely return to discover other specialties of their cuisine.
