Ristorante Emili, located in the heart of the charming village of Giucano (municipality of Fosdinovo), is a true gem of local culinary art. The location is splendid: a cozy and authentic atmosphere, nestled among the village's narrow streets, worth the visit in itself. The welcome was excellent from the moment we arrived. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, they still reserved a small space for us from which to admire the extraordinary surrounding landscape. This detail, while different from what we had imagined, did not detract from the wonder of what we enjoyed. The culinary journey was truly memorable. We began with tagliatelle with mushrooms, incredibly fresh and flavorful, followed by fried and sautéed mushrooms, both expertly prepared. The wild boar stew was a true triumph of tradition, intense and perfectly balanced. To round out the meal, the panzanelle accompanied by exceptional cured meats, with a genuine and authentic flavor. The staff was always kind, attentive, and available to answer any questions, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. Finally, the bill was absolutely in line with the quality of the dishes and service. A practical detail: there's a large parking lot near the restaurant, very convenient for visitors, given that only residents are allowed to park in the village. In conclusion, Emili is a restaurant we recommend without hesitation to anyone looking for an authentic gastronomic experience immersed in a setting of rare beauty. We will definitely return to discover other specialties of their cuisine.

We celebrated our wedding here and couldn't be happier with how everything went. From the beautiful location, the fantastic food, and the super friendly staff, everything was truly perfect. Thanks to Fiorella and her entire team for an evening we'll never forget!

A well-kept, stylish restaurant with excellent cuisine. We've never been disappointed and usually make reservations for several evenings... The steak, sgabei, tetaroli, and the porcini mushroom dishes are absolute musts! Even for travelers passing through, the restaurant is worth a detour.

Packages available, including appetizer, first course, and second course, at a fixed price. The cured meats were good, the sgabei were a bit hard and cold, and the meat was average. Not particularly exciting.

Specialized with Sgabei, very simple cuisine

I was here with my partner. We both really enjoyed it. Not only did the location immediately win us over (very romantic and cozy), but the Sgabei appetizer is also incredibly delicious! It's a must-try. We each had a four-course meal and a glass of wine for €38 per person, and we were more than satisfied (and we're both really big eaters). You can't find such value for money anywhere else... the waitress was also very friendly and attentive. All in all, a very successful evening that we will remember for a long time.
