Trattoria Da Dante In Roma

We went for the first time for lunch, after finding it on the internet and reading the reviews, we wanted to try it. The room is large, clean, bright, the waiters professional and kind. We took mezzamaniche alla carbonara, bucatini all'arrabbiata (I had asked to use them instead of penne), Roman tripe, chicken with peppers, sautéed chicory, Roman artichoke and fried courgettes. Pleasant surprise: everything was delicious!! Genuine cuisine, abundant dishes and good prices! I recommend and we will definitely be back.

Today I went with my family for lunch in this restaurant which, being a Saturday, was crowded. I took two first courses tonnarelli all' angerta, mezze sleeves carbonara, Roman tripe, chicken with peppers, Roman artichokes, sautéed chicory, fried courgettes. Excellent quality/price. Friendly staff. The only flaw is the time spent between courses, but the crowding must be considered. I chose an inside table, but the place has many outside tables. I definitely recommend it.

Quite tasty for a moderate price. The interior is rather modest. It is necessary to book in advance, but we did not find how to do it online, probably only by calling. And as we understood, they open only in the evening

I used to go there several years ago and honestly it was better. It's unforgivable that there isn't a bathroom for disabled people, given that the only one that exists is only accessible via 4 steps. Food without infamy and without praise

Premesso che -almeno in fase di prenotazione telefonica- il personale non brilla per cortesia, quo si mangia bene e molto abbondante. Locale elegante, ma servizio lento. Nel complesso li consiglio, se siete in zona Prati. Un consiglio allo chef: meno prezzemolo nei primi piatti e meno panna nella (molto buona) millefoglie.

A Roma ,nel quartiere Prati, ci sono una decina di ristoranti di livello medio alto ,che sono rimasti immutati credo da più di cinquant’anni ! Ecco Dante è uno di questi ,tutti lo conoscono, tutti sanno dov’è ,la gente del quartiere lo frequenta da anni, di padre in figlio, magari domenica sera oppure durante la settimana a pranzo. Molto frequentato da professionisti avvocati commercialisti vari e la sera pieno di romani che ne conoscono il di buon cibo classico romano senza avere sorprese o stranezze culinarie. Sempre più spesso qualche tavolo di turisti magari inviati proprio da TripAdvisor. Quindi carbonara , mozzarella,prosciutto , fritti ,saltimbocca,cicoria,puntarelle,poi fragoline e biscotti secchi ,davvero poca fantasia o ricerca di piatti alla moda. Alla fine si paga una cinquantina di euro per sola bevendo del vino buono.
