Very good food. Great for fish. Typical Italian restaurant in Merano. A bit out of the way and hard to find.

A fantastic restaurant, somewhat hidden away but with a great outdoor seating area and excellent service with a Latin flair. 🙂 The seafood dishes and the tiramisu are top-notch!

We were staying at the Live Merano campsite right next door and ate here several times. The food was simply delicious every time. The atmosphere is perfect, although everyone's tastes vary, of course. The service is always pleasant and friendly.

July 2019: A treat!! The fish soup and pasta alla scoglio were a real pleasure. the homemade tiramisu is huge and delicious The only downside is that the restaurant is not easy to find, it is under the grandstand of the football field and it is advisable to book or come early May 2025: Back at Dante's 5 years later.. we ate the same dishes and it's still just as good and plentiful.. don't change a thing

I have lunch in this restaurant on average once a week and I can only recommend it! Spectacular first courses of fish, second courses of meat or fish!!

23/07/2025: Very nice food and setting was lovely
13/07/2025: This is the third owner of the restaurant I know, and finally someone who knows something about cooking. Vives Stube has been under new management since 2024! Very delicious food, a very harmonious menu, a good wine selection, and friendly service in a very pleasant atmosphere. We were very impressed and will be back!
