Reading past reviews, it made me curious to book Easter lunch 2025. After traveling 80km and 1.30 hours of travel it was really easy to find the Structure. At the entrance we were immediately welcomed with great courtesy in a truly welcoming environment. The service was impeccable and punctual in serving each dish. The dishes were really good served without begging in the portion. For everything we ate and I did, all the dishes the Bis and even the trios. I can say that I ate truly beyond my expectations. I will take this into account in the future and highly recommend this exceptional restaurant.

Personally, I will return and recommend it especially to those who are tired of paying dearly for 4 dishes on the cross. I also recommend it to those who are nostalgic for the places of the past: those with a fixed menu where for the right price you could eat simple things and lots of them. There were 3 of us and we all loved it. And then they do an encore. Among other things, it's been a lifetime since I ate San Carlino because the cuisine is typical Piedmontese with equally typical dishes from Biella and Vercelli. For 33 euros, all inclusive, we ate 5 or 6 starters including beef carpaccio which was really good + 2 first courses (panissa and agnolotti) + 2 second courses (stracotto, battered vegetables, boiled meat) + sweet side dish (spinach).
Quality? More than good. Certainly not superlative but for 33 euros and all that stuff what more could you want.
In short, it's one of those places that you find, you see the 4.4 score on Google, you try it and you wonder what people expect because it's 4.6, at least. The environment is retro, remaining profoundly as it once was

I was in Cossato for work and the question: where do you go to eat? It was more frequent than the rapid heartbeat from the effort of climbing the stairs. Here a native recommends this place to us. We go through moments of anguish because we couldn't find anything that resembled a restaurant, but yes! The location, as ignorant as a trucker's furry slipper, welcomes us under a pergola that wouldn't be enough. A team of waitresses begins to bring the eating style with machine gun fire: with the first one I could have trained my biceps. A few moments after the last forkful, I find three second courses on my plate and a side dish of tomatoes and onion that quickly takes off my fresh breath. The waitress, believing that my pile also wanted to taste it, spills two tomatoes and a bit of onion on it, just in case. In short, exuding healthy ignorance and silent resignation, I get up from the table and go back to work, thinking that yes, everything is fine in the end!

Truly fantastic experience, spent today with my son for the first time, excellent food, excellent staff, it's local in a context like it used to be, it feels like going back to the past, in fact I felt like I was younger 🙂.
