If you're ever in this corner of Italy, you have to go there without hesitation. A true Italian trattoria where the dishes are prepared with love and tradition. The service is impeccable and the prices are more than affordable! Go there without hesitation!

Family-run restaurant...the owner and his wife are very kind, the food is all handmade and made with love, excellent quality, and the price is more than fair...what can I say...if it weren't so far away from me...I would go there much more often!

In Genoa 30 degrees, tables overlooking the valley 23 degrees magical, perfect lasagna with pesto on a plate, homemade ravioli, perfect baked rabbit all cooked with wood stoves they are great. Go there they deserve it!

Personale al tavolo molto gentile. Locale alla buona in stile anni 70. Per quanto riguarda il cibo: il pesto NON chiamatelo pesto, perchè era più che altro panna . Lasagne al piatto troppo cotte. Lasagne al forno : porzione minimal (forse erano le ultime ?). Coniglio affogato nell'olio. Ravioli di carne, fatti in casa, buoni. Anche se l'esperienza non è stata negativa, non è un posto in cui tornerei

Excellent location, on top of Monte Cornua with a large outdoor terrace. Very kind waiters. Positive note also for the bill: €15 per person for two second courses, two covers, a side dish, a dessert, two coffees, a water and 1/2L of wine. Decent food! Not the "Wow" from Trattoria that you expect.

Excellent family-run Genoese tavern. Always daily menu and never fixed, with all good home-made dishes. Very cheap compared to everything they give you. For red wine, still water, two first courses, two second courses, two side dishes, two desserts, two bitters and a coffee (there were two of us) THEY ASKED ME €40! In Genoa... a very expensive city. I gave them €50 because I was ashamed to pay so little (and even €50 was a bargain anyway!). I would go back a million times

Rifugio Prato della Cipolla

27/05/2025: The last time I was in Santo Stefano d’Aveto, starting from Farini (PC), I drove up to Rocca d’Aveto. Here I took the chairlift to the Prato della Cipolla refuge, landing in the beautiful grassy basin, surmounted by the spectacular spur called “Dente della Cipolla”. Once I reached the top, on the path of my trek, I had the pleasure of meeting the famous comedian Crozza who, as a gallant hiker of the place, greeted me first. That fact took me by surprise and, at that moment, I did not respond promptly... After apologizing, I later joined him in the characteristic restaurant hut, where his wife and actress Carla Signoris was waiting for him. The couple of actors coming from the mountain residence of Santo Stefano, had arrived on Prato Cipolla for the usual weekly walk to Ferriere (PC). It was very exciting to meet them, and I did not miss the opportunity to express my congratulations to both of them. And after an excellent snack on the house, I took my leave of that magical place, thanking everyone for the welcoming hospitality.
