Trattoria Consolini, in Travagliato not far from Brescia. Modern restaurant offering local cuisine with the possibility of a four-course menu or a choice from the menu. We looked for it to taste the famous "travagliatina" inappropriately called "Fiorentina" of horse meat which however must be booked in advance. We started with an appetizer of selected raw ham and tongue, good. Two first courses, Brescian tripe and ravioli; but we were looking for meat, so we chose the horse "fiorentina" having not ordered the travagliatina with potatoes. Very tender and tasty meat, the only complaint was that the dish was not heated and the meat tended to cool quickly. The side dish very good. Excellent wine, a satèn Franciacorta, which however I have not remembered. Desserts, mascarpone rum cream folders, good, homemade, but the shortcrust pastry perhaps a little hard.

Thanks for the super tripe dish that was on the menu of the day. It made me taste the old flavors of my mother's cooking again. From up there she also congratulates you. Until the next culinary re-enactment.

Small restaurant on the outskirts, away from the noise, excellent cleanliness (perfect bathrooms). A family business, the menu changes every week and therefore it becomes very interesting to revisit often, the local dish "the horse" which cannot be missed is favoured, the zero km raw materials reflect the characteristic of the place. the bread that is sliced ​​at the moment honors the baker and the fragrance, the first course is good, a broth with mushrooms and pumpkin (absolutely worth trying), extraordinary grilled horse T-bone (for the most prized travagliatina it is better to reserve) the cooking, maturing and perfect tenderness. The homemade sbrisolona was very pleasant. The excellent quality/price ratio, given the raw materials and the ability to transform them into a good dinner! We will be back soon.

Il Boccone wine beer food è bar

08/09/2024: Encantador lugar en la parte antigua de la ciudad. Gran ambiente. Nos sentamos afuera. El servicio y la comida era muy bueno y un montón de opciones en el menú. Hubiéramos regresado si visitamos por más tiempo.

14/01/2025: Clean and welcoming pizzeria. Always friendly staff. Every time it is a pleasure for the palate to return.
05/01/2025: A place I wouldn't return to. We eat in turns and luckily we went for the second one. Those of the first are invited to get up at 9pm precisely... let's move on We waited exactly 41 minutes for the pizza. Luckily I asked for the beers to be brought with the pizza otherwise I would have left drunk. At first glance I would say that the oven is clean... the pizza underneath has no waste or burns. The ingredients are good, but the pasta in the center is slightly raw and "tight" so much so that it cannot be picked up well with a fork (liquidy). It "seems" as if the pizza chef skimped on the dough and rolled it out a lot to make it large enough. The one I got was nduja style, but in my opinion they put too much and it covered all the flavours. I can't say if it was the spiciness (which I'm used to) or not perfect cooking, but I didn't sleep at night and had a slight stomach ache in the morning 🤷🏻‍♂️ Many expectations given by the reviews which are obviously all questionable like mine, but a pizza that costs €19 and then with a €3 cover charge I expect at least a tablecloth and a napkin better than the paper one. Ah, the wine list, although good "at a significant cost", did not have (or I did not see them) the half bottles that I recommend with the new legislation 🥂
