Excellent selection of wines, including the excellent Lagrein rosé, which we chose, served very cold with an ice bucket and beautiful, tall oval glasses that brought out its aromas. The food was decidedly high-quality; the veal liver was excellent, not Venetian-style, as the chef suggested, but simply grilled, accompanied by grilled white polenta and caramelized fig confit, which was absolutely delicious. The mixed fried fish was also good, crispy and not too greasy, although perhaps a little too salty for my taste. My dessert of vanilla ice cream with cherries in alcohol was delicious. The all-female wait staff was extremely kind and welcoming. Overall, a truly pleasant dinner.
