Nel caratteristico centro storico di Alghero ci sono tanti ristorantini molto carini e l’altro giorno na abbiamo scoperto un altro: il Caragol, molto accogliente e gestito da Antonio e Maurizia, due persone molto gentili, simpatiche e molto attente alle richieste dei clienti. Noi abbiamo optato per un’ottima fregula alla pescatora, ottimi spaghetti alla chitarra con vongole e bottarga grattugiata e a scaglie e agliata all’algherese. Buonissima anche la catalana! Che dire? Ci ritorneremo! Senz’altro!

Trattoria serving typical Sardinian cuisine in the historic centre. We ordered seafood first courses, the fregola alla pescatora was really excellent. Cozy place and very friendly staff. I would stay here again and recommend it!

The food is good, they especially have more fish and seafood dishes. The only drawback is that there is not outside terrace

23/02/2025: Found by chance, great food and excellent service, recommended. We'll be back
18/02/2025: I ate well, the products are good and plentiful. The only thing I would see again are the desserts especially the affogato, it was full of poor quality whipped cream and there was almost no ice cream underneath the cream. And the price is excessive in my opinion.

01/10/2024: You eat practically by the sea, the first courses of the day are always superlative for their simplicity, quantity and taste, then the flatbreads, a must in Castiglioncello which are really good here, I recommend the cunzata…. Honest prices and helpful service…. If you are in the area stop by!!!!
