Trattoria Canavesana In Castellamonte

Classic trattoria, home cooking, excellent for lunch break

I love trattorias, the real, authentic ones, but it's increasingly difficult to find them because so many restaurants pass themselves off as such... This is a real trattoria, a warm atmosphere, the perfect place for family celebrations, delicious food, and friendly, kind staff. I've read some negative reviews about dog owners; I believe they're sad souls fueled by anger and resentment. I'm writing this because I've worked in the world of reviews, and I recognize the false or resentful ones... this is an honest place where you eat well, with generous dishes, often served multiple times, and good wine, a true trattoria to mark on your list of places to return to.

Business lunch. Very family-friendly atmosphere and good food. Like eating at home (positive interpretation).

A unique experience. I was here with my husband on a Sunday and we ate the house specials. There was nothing wrong with any dish, everything was delicious. We are Sardinians in love with Piedmontese cuisine. Gloria

If you don't have haute cuisine pretensions it's perfect. Delicious home-made food, they even pass by twice with trays and you leave the table full as an egg. Ps. The managers are very friendly and easy-going
