Dinner with friends at this historic restaurant. The atmosphere is very welcoming and refined. Attentive service, traditional dishes perfectly executed. Highly recommended.

For the price, the food is good but nothing spectacular, and the presentation is truly awful. A fondue flan with a bagged salad thrown on the plate, very '80s-esque, a meat dish with excessive mushrooms thrown on the plate with a slop, porcini mushroom ravioli with a plate covered in sauce... I expected something more refined.
The atmosphere is homey, and the waiter is knowledgeable and friendly, but for €250 for four people and a two-year-old, I'd definitely go elsewhere. Sorry.

The food was extremely good and the service impeccable! We had a hard time finding the restaurant despite the GPS, but luckily, thanks to a passerby who kindly showed us the way, we arrived.

For us, this is a wonderful place away from the hustle and bustle, with authentic, honest Italian cuisine. The dishes are fresh, traditional, and full of flavor; everything seems to be prepared with great care. The service is warm and attentive, the atmosphere cozy and relaxed. A place we highly recommend in Genoa. 🇮🇹

We had dinner in Genoa, in a place called San Desiderio, in the hinterland of the city, in this historic and ancient historical Genoese trattoria, known for its traditional Ligurian cuisine, and it is a little way from the city center, in a beautiful tree-lined valley.
The trattoria takes its name from a cute nickname given to Giovanni Battista Peirano, the founder in 1862, who one day, to demonstrate his hard work after being criticized, cut all the grass in the family forest in one night, earning himself the nickname "brucia boschi" ("bruxaboschi" in Genoese dialect).
There are indoor tables in five indoor rooms and also outdoors on the terrace under the horse chestnut trees with a beautiful view and, in summer, there is a "Beer Garden" area for hamburgers and beers
We sat down at an inside table and ordered:
Appetizers
- antipasti artichokes with fondue
First:
- ravioli stuffed with meat and vegetables with tucco alla Genovese
-picagge matte al pesto (with chestnut flour)
Seconds
1 cut of beef with vegetables
1 cut of beef with potatoes
Desserts
2 tangerine sorbets
dark chocolate ganache with coffee cream and almond waffle
All delicious.
Very elegant, welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and available staff, while the service was very attentive and fast, and the prices were expensive but fair for the quality of the dishes

Today we went for lunch for the first time and had a great time. The service was excellent, and the girl who served us, Elena, was very attentive and kind. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
We ordered several dishes, and they were all very good. I had the tartare with parmesan and fresh artichoke salad, the porcini mushroom risotto, mushrooms, and wild mushrooms-style potatoes, but the ravioli and pansoti were equally excellent...
In short, it's definitely worth returning. 😋 😋😋
