Excellent food, served in a refined and elegant environment and a deep choice of wines. I especially appreciated the menu: a few traditional dishes. Price appropriate to the quality.

From the outside it doesn't look as nice as inside, welcoming with a large garden, attentive, courteous service, very good food

Excellent traditional Treviso restaurant: menu composed of a deliberately limited choice of first and second courses, typical of the local cuisine, very well prepared and tasty. The second courses are all accompanied by the relevant and studied side dish, without free choice. Well-stocked cellar, which ranges from "basic" proposals to prestigious wines. The desserts are also good, offered according to the restaurant's guiding principle: few, but well made. Average price, certainly not cheap, but adequate for the quality and, obviously, conditioned by the choice of wines. The owner is courteous and knowledgeable. I recommend the place to anyone who wants to enjoy a dinner with traditional flavours, in a welcoming, clean and well-kept environment. We will be back.

Traditional cuisine done to perfection, fantastic selection of wines, prices in line with the quality served, informal but elegant environment, the entrance hall with the bar could be the set of a 70s film. Absolutely worth trying.

NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER
When we arrived at Trattoria Brunello we wondered whether the place was the right one or not.
From the outside it does not appear to be in front of a restaurant/trattoria, rather it gives the impression of being a grocery store.
We enter, we discover that we are actually in the right place, they make us sit at our table but what immediately catches the eye is this majestic fireplace that has the similarities of an amphora that warms and welcomes guests.
After sitting down they bring us the menu and after careful reading we decide to have it
2 starters
- Crispy egg, leek pie, parmigiano reggiano powder
- Radicchio flan, Morlacco fondue and almonds
1 first
- Risotto with pheasant breast and vegetables (min 2 pers.)
1 second
- Baked turkey roll
1 dessert
- Tiramisu (not on the menu)
After the right wait between one course and another we can say that the starters were served in a workmanlike manner, bringing into play not only the taste of the dishes, both really good with the right combinations of flavours, but also the composition itself played a fundamental role.
The first, this risotto with pheasant breast and vegetables, is the jewel in the crown.
Served with simplicity, nothing elaborate in appearance, but all the elaboration lies in the flavor that this risotto once tasted.
In a word, Sublime.
Since it was progressing we also received an encore, obviously we didn't refuse.
The turkey roll is a more normal dish but it has the right elements to make it the second course to choose if you come to eat at Brunello.
Especially for what is given in addition to the Turkey which is not specified in the menu. (see photos)
Tiramisu does not appear in the selection of desserts because it was proposed as the fifth option, very good perhaps with a pinch less cocoa on the surface it would have earned a few more points but overall an excellent choice.
Let's get to the bill
for two people, in addition to the dishes listed, two place settings and a water are added for a total of €92.
In my opinion the price is in line with what you ate
if a person wants to have a starter, first course, second course, they know they will spend around €50 or a little more.
I highly recommend the visit, and don't be prejudiced before entering because what awaits you is a great lunch.
