You immediately feel at home. Clean and intimate, like the trattorias of the past, you can breathe fresh sea air in every dish of the young chef Roberto, while Max entertains his guests. I tried various first courses and I recommend ordering the Genoese seafood dish. The fried prawns and calamari are light and not greasy. The choice of wines is excellent and I recommend a Falanghina. Fair prices and consistent with the quality of the food.

The “Max or Sub” tevern. An excellence of Neapolitan cuisine. The love and passion that Max and his son Roberto put into their dishes is love for the palate. The exceptional raw fish, not to mention the seafood carbonara, which only Max's hauled or sub can offer you, being its typical dish. Roberto is a spectacular chef, with excellent quality raw materials.

As a Barese DOC, I must admit that I ate fresh fish of the highest quality. Those who know the Apulian tradition know that we are not easily satisfied, therefore, Max truly excels in the quality of the product, in addition to the fact that his son Roberto cooks very well. Very high level.

Arriving from Cattolica for a lunch with cousins and various relatives, we encountered excellent hospitality and service, not to mention the quality and abundance of each individual course, and also the patience shown in satisfying all requests (even for celiacs )
