Sunday lunch with my wife and 3-year-old daughter. Interesting menu with some seasonal options, and we appreciated the variety of dishes, including classic and more modern ones. We ate snails, rabbit tuna, braised cheek, and quail—all delicious. The polenta was noteworthy, among the best we've ever had. For dessert, I recommend the apple tarte tatin, just below those we've tried in France—delicious! The wine list is excellent, with some great classics and even a few off-the-beaten-track choices. The atmosphere is a bit "old-fashioned," but that's purely a matter of taste, as the place is well-kept and the bathrooms are new and spotless. Service is kind and friendly, and the staff are professional and very patient, even with our little one. Bill: We greatly appreciated the kindness of not counting the mini dessert portion our daughter ordered. After wine, we spent €119 for three people, including two appetizers, one first course, two second courses, and two desserts. Honestly, considering all the variables, I expected something less and was about to give this review 4 stars, but I have to admit that the prices are in line with other places of this kind. In fact, we've been to restaurants in the area that, despite serving the same type of cuisine, had higher prices for no apparent reason other than their reputation. While this place may seem a bit shabby at first glance and offer a very rustic style of cuisine (perhaps due to the previous management), the dishes are carefully crafted and plated with passion. Ultimately, to be honest, I'd say 5 stars are well deserved, and personally, upon leaving, I agreed with my wife that when we crave this type of cuisine again, this place will most likely be our first choice in the area.

Very nice place, the food is excellent. The tagliatelle with mushrooms is very good, as is the polenta with mushrooms. Good wine cellar with affordable prices for quality bottles. Definitely worth trying again.

The restaurant was renovated from a previous one. Unless there's an additional room, the dining room isn't very large—let's say 25 people. Upon entering, there was a slight smell of damp. The service was courteous and helpful. Some dishes were very good, seasonal, others less so, like the pizzoccheri. Considering the location, the service, and the food, the bill was a bit higher than expected.
